submit your kiss letter

Young KISS fans.

Like many other fans, I have grown up with KISS. They have been there through thick and thin with me. I can go on and on but there just isn't enough time. Why I am writing this letter, is to mention how my 4 year old son loves KISS. Through many generations and different genres of music...KISS still keep kicking ASS. We live in Southern Ontario,Canada. My daughter is also a KISS fan she is 6yrs old.A lot of kids their age probably don't know of KISS, but mine do. They are amazed at the videos, shows, pyros, costumes etc...Nothing better than hearing my son sing Deuce of Modern Day Delilah. He loves his KISS transport, his KISS Christmas ornaments he got for Christmas, but the best is when both my kids ask. " Daddy when can we see KISS'? So Paul,Gene,Tommy and Eric...Next time you are in Hamilton,Ontario playing at Copps Coliseum, there will be a few young KISS fans watching in awe with their dad.Keep rockin'. Can't wait for my kids to witness a great show. Because they want the best and they will see the best. The hottest band in the world KISS! See you soon.

40 Years of KISS

I don't have enough space to write about what this band has meant to me in my lifetime. I have been with Kiss through all the ups and downs, and have never wavered in my loyalty. From the moment I heard Detroit Rock City played to me over the phone by my best friend, I was hooked. Kiss has changed my life, given me a reason to believe in myself when no one else would, and it has showed me what is possible with hard work and patience. When no one else believed in me, Kiss told me that I could believe in myself. I am a professor of English to hundreds of college students per year, and that basic Kiss credo of be proud of who you are and you will accomplish your dreams is a message I preach in every class. Thank you for that. Yes, I'm a freak, and it's a cross I'm proud to bear. Here's a photograph I took at my first Kiss concert at the Lubbock Municipal Coliseum in November of 1977. All it was was a hand-held 110 film camera I held up high and clicked. The result speaks for itself. Thanks, Paul, Gene, Eric, and Tommy, for keeping the dream alive.

DR SIN FROM BRAZIL LOVES KISS

On 2009 was the second time that DR SIN stood on the same stage as KISS in Sao Paulo, Brazil as opening act. The first time was at "Monsters of Rock", in which Dr.Sin was one of the attractions and KISS was headliner. It is recorded here again our admiration and respect for the unique KISS. The biggest dream of our band would have an album entirely produced by Gene Simmons DR SIN www.drsin.com.br www.facebook.com/drsinofficial

My Birthday with KISS

Well, I started liking Kiss really young, around the age of seven, for my cousin Rafael had the Unplugged VHS, therefore, i was fascinated by the Hottest Band in the World. After an immense frustration for not being able to go to the show in 2009 (due to low age) on september 28th, I read the news that would make my year be worth it: KISS would come and make a show at So Paulo at my birthday of 18 years. Since then, anxiety every day, I am not joking, I was already being execrated by my friends, because I couldn't speak of anything else. So, there came the day, me and my friendn named Nelmo arrived at Anhembi Stage, and there I could realize how incridible Kiss really is, for it connects all people around in such a way that I can create a lot of friendships there, that are taken for the rest of life. I myself have made friendships there. I don't need to speak anything of the performane in itself, because it's a visual shock to see every second that Kiss performs, and with luck, I could stay in a place that during the song "Love Gun" (when Paul flies above people) I was about 10 meters away from the platform in which he performed. I don't even need to talk of how much jumping and singing I did, practically using my friend as support to be able to stand, and totally out of voice. But every second there, made me find out and understand what would be that would really make me happy, and for me, moments like that of the show, represent the real meaning of the word Utopia. Thank you Kiss for the magnificent show, and for me to have had the chance of the best birthday of my life

Fav KISS memory

Too many to list - 1st time seeing them in 1979 to 27xs later being able to take my daughters to see them in Tulsa last year. Chance meeting with Paul in K.C. on Crazy Nights Tour - meeting them on World Domination Tour with my oldest daughter and wife.I've loved and will continue to love all eras, lineups and forms of anything KISS. I would have never became the person I am today without growing up with them. They were my release, fantasy and idols. Too me they will always be LARGER THAN LIFE !

KISS 40th Anniversary

Hi, My name is Lucas and I have been a KISS fan since 1998. I first saw them on their Psycho Circus tour in December of 98 in Charleston, WV, and to this day, no show has topped it for me. The only ones that come close is when I saw KISS again in 2000, 2010, and 2012. KISS is my favorite band of all time. I love all of their albums, from top to bottom. Everything from KISS to Monster. I love all lineups. I love many other bands, but KISS is Number 1. Happy 40th Anniversary Gene, Paul, Ace, Peter, Eric Carr (RIP), Vinnie, Mark St. John (RIP), Bruce, Eric Singer, and Tommy. I look forward to 40 more years of KISSTORY. Thank you for all the music and great memories. Lucas

40th Anniversary - Favorite moments

God! There has been so many great moments in KISSTORY for me! From meeting them in person for the first time (March 13th, 1984) to attending my very first KISS concert (August 6th, 1979). However, if I had to pick just one, it would be seeing the original band live in concert on their Reunion tour (August 3rd, 1996). It was magical! Gerry

KISS

I am 45 years old. I have been a KISS fan since 1977. I've seen them Live 58 times and counting. My 23 year old son has seen them twice with me and Loves KISS as much as I do. They have been a big part of my life. Creatures of the night, Lick it up, Animalize, Asylum and Crazy Nights got me through high school and I am still enjoying KISS as much as ever. Monster is a great cd, they should release FREAK as a single. Just finished Peter Criss Make up to Break up book and waiting for Paul to write his. Thanks KISS for a lifetime of great, fun music!!
