Letters

This is my husband, Marty, and myself during Halloween 2012. As I said before, I wore two characters on my face, because I couldn't leave one out. I wore Demon & Spaceman. I wore this same exact make-up during the concert @ Pelham, Alabama 2012 and people thought it was so cool how I was wearing two characters. They even said that they had never seen this before. I felt like a rockstar, like a KISS rockstar on that day. A few people even asked me to take a picture with them!! I called it my one-day fame.....I will never forget the feeling I had that day. I LOVE KISS!!!

This is my daughter, Shawn, dressed up as Starchild for Halloween 2012. She even asked me to paint her toy guitar to make it look a little like Starchild's. She was extremely excited on being Starchild for a day. My husband and I completed the group by dressing as the rest of the band. He wore Catman's make-up & I wore Demon on the right side of my face & Spaceman on the left. I couldn't keep one character out being that it was three of us, so I put two on my face as I did during the concert we attended. We rocked Halloween night!! People were so amazed to see KISS for Halloween!! We love KISS!!!!

Sorry if you already got this. Kiss has won 6 of the 11 categories in the 2012 Ultimate Classic Rock Awards. I believe the they were only nomiated in 7 categories. The only one I think they missed was Concert of the Year which they took second to Guns 'n' Roses. Hey Paul, Gene, Tommy, and Eric, I'm writing to say thanks. I've never been what people consider "normal", and I've always had a fascination with KISS. When I was nine and wearing my mom's rhinestone-covered shirt to school, I didn't know what the logo stood for, but it seemed cool. It was shiny, for one, and I also had the slightest idea that KISS was a rock and roll band. It seemed dangerous and rebellious. Now I'm thirteen,still wearing the same fading rhinestone shirt. My love for your music has grown, thanks to a member of my local KISS cover band, Love Gun, who played "Detroit Rock City" for me for the first time. There's something about the simplicity of your songs that is beautiful. It never fails to pump me up and make me feel like it's okay to be myself. Thank you for the music. Guitarist Menno Gootjes from the dutch prog rock band Focus will be paying tribute to the music written by KISS and Ace Frehley on may 4th 2013 at Podiumcaf� de Graauwe Hengst, Schiedam Holland. The music made by KISS and Ace Frehley is a huge inspiration for Menno and now he thinks the time is right to show Holland where he comes from.
