Memories with KISS

Well to be honest, I never really listened to KISS until I saw them Live in Mansfield MA on September 16th 2012. And it absolutely blew my mind. Probably one of the best concerts I have seen. I am a guitarist who is inspired mainly by Eddie Van Halen, which I must thank Paul and Gene for recognizing Van Halen. Rock and Roll music will be a part of my life, and hopefully I will out there in the music industry soon. Tommy Thayer is an incredible guitar player, and he has influenced to keep up playing guitar. One thing I must say is that you guys are spreading the life of true Rock and Roll music, and I must tell you that you are being heard by people like me. I am going to try as much as I can to keep Rock and Roll alive in the next generation. Thank you so much for changing my life and keeping the spirit of Rock and Roll alive. Hope to see you again in 2013!

How it Started

It started in late 1975 at a boy girl party, I was 12. It was all pop music when we heard some sound from the garage next door. Being young we were hanging at the door when the band said we could go in and listen. They started playing this song with a wild rife. Not knowing it, we asked what it was and they look at us as if to say where have you been. Its FIREHOUSE by KISS. Who???? Couldnt get it out of my head, so to the store I went and forund this double album with a wild cover. Alive and thats how its been ever since. From makup to first Kiss show in 1976 in Utica NY to Pinball Machines, meeting the band for the first time in 2003 to my prized possession a 2011 smashed Guitar from the Turning Stone in Verona NY. The band has heard it over their 40 years of how they in some way shape or form have helped, saved, made whole, or just plain made you feel good for being them. Well for this KISS fan it has been and will be The Greastest Band In The World. Thanks

From 2011 to 2013 they are all the same pictures just put on different months. Thanks for 40 great years and please come to Canada (Winnipeg) in 3013 or 2014.

KISS fan since '75

I've been a KISS fan since 1975. My first record was ALIVE ! and I listened to it over and over, imagining what it would be like to be in the crowd, envious of the two people holding the KISS sign at the concert on the back cover.I've seen KISS over 20 times since the reunion tour in 1996. KISS is the soundtrack of my life, and whenever I have a bad day, I put on their music snd it picks me up ! I had the pleasure of meeting Gene in Vancouver at a meet and greet. I've been to the art gallery im Maui to see Paul's paintings, have not met Ace or Peter, but I've read their books. Happy 40th KISS and thank you for the countless memories. My admiration for them

I do not know where to start, let alone if you will read this, even though I have not read it hoping that I will write words that will come out of my heart. I live in Brazil, my name is Patricia and I'm 16. That's the way to get to you easier, my family can not afford to give me a ticket for any show you. Life here is not easy, I'm considered weird and many turn away from me because of my style, and because I rock Rock. Play guitar with two friends Vera and my cousin Daniela, want to start a band and we already have a name until Followers, the name is not very good pro gives more spending. Sometimes I discouraged, lose hope, this band will never work and there remember the story of you, and for all that passed and that excites me most. You are my inspiration, when I hear their music I travel, it's as if I was to another world, where nothing existed, a world where I do not suffer, where I do not cry, a world where I'm happy. I thank you for the inspiration they give me, thank you. I recognize that I am not his number one fan and not the best, but with the little I'm admire each of you. Sometimes I give up, stop dreaming there comes a song in the minds of you 'GOD GAVE ROCK & ROLL TO YOU' that has a part that says' If you want to be a singer, or play guitar Man, you gotta sweat or you will not get far Because it's never too late to work 9 to 5. "And that's me strength to move on. I still hope to play lots and lots of songs on my guitar you and wish you all the best for each of banda, thank you for everything and God help enlighten you so much. For each leave a message: 'Never stop believing in God, he always has the best for each of us, even if it takes the best always comes from him '.
