1976...first year I really discovered KISS...my first record was a 45rpm Take Me....then I finally got Destroyer....Blew me away......I started to play drums...wear my hair long...play guitar...anything.......from then I bought anything with KISS on it.....first concert was Dynasty..Peters last......then saw it again with Eric....Good memories

Artist Uses Kittens to Recreate Classic Album Covers As a musician, a co-founder of a record label and a vintage poster dealer, New York-based artist Alfra Martini is a woman of many musical trades. But in her downtime, the cat owner uses kittens as her muse to recreate classic album covers, and the result is rather entertaining. She first came up with the idea for her website, The Kitten Covers, while she was at home sick in bed, looking at old, iconic album covers online with her cat. She noticed the graphic, exaggerated style of art in the album covers, and immediately had a vision of David Bowie as a kitten. (She thinks the idea came to her thanks to Theraflu, being a huge Bowie fan, and cuddling up with her cat). After her first photoshopped David Bowie cover, she continued with more so-called �Kitten Covers,� never imagining how popular they would become.

Thank you for these 40 years, although I have ��lived�� only the last 17, you guys were always there in good times, congratulations to you �cause KISS have changed my life forever, I have to say kiss will always be the best, you guys are fantastic ... I've been in Rio de Janeiro�s KISS Concert, and waited to stand face to face with you, and when the concert started ... I started to cry and could not stop� When Paul looked at me and made a face that "Don�t cry!"� Was at this time that I cried more and more... One month later, at home watching some KISS videos on youtube, I watched the S�o Paulo�s KISS concert, where many of my friends were and I could not attend, I could only attend in Rio... Finally, just watch the video and I started to cry again, I'm so addicted to you guys, what can I do?! I'm listening to the new album day and night, whenever I can, �cause without doubt Monster is addictive. I have a tattoo of KISS logo on my left wrist, which appeared on the big screen at Rio�s concert (!) And intend to do more tattoos in tribute to KISS! You guys will always be in our hearts and our minds, as the hottest band in the world. I would like to show to you and to the KISS Army some of my collection of KISS CDs and vinyl records, �cause the entire collection would not fit in a single photo! As I'm also addicted to Monster increasingly addicted to KISSology mainly in KISSology vol 2, and expecting a KISSology vol 4! First of all, I would like to congratulate you all for this great milestone. If ten years is something to be proud of, 40 years is just amazing. You guys have inspired me to get more in touch with my musical side, especially my singing and bass playing, just like the Demon Gene Simmons! I haven't been a fan up until recently, when I decided to finally listen to your songs last year, and I immediately loved them. I am barely 20 years old, but I cannot believe I spent 19 years without knowing about your great music. Once I bought my first KISS album, which was Sonic Boom, I haven't looked back. I play no other music than yours, and couldn't be happier about it. The happiest memory I have about your forty years of excellence was listening to the first song from Sonic Boom, Modern Day Delilah, and loving it. My first KISS album, which only deepened my love for rock 'n roll. Again, congratulations on your success, and I wish you forty more years of it! Keep rocking it! I live in Louisville, KY and just wanted to thank KISS for being so truly incredible and thankful to their countless fans over the years. I sincerely hope that you keep touring and please come back to the Kentucky, Ohio and Tennessee areas in 2014! Please continue to do the Meet & Greets with the autograph sessions, time with us fans, and the excellent seats for your concerts.
