I'm not a nerd... I'm a FREAK!

Gene, Paul,Eric, and Tommy My name is Whitney, and I love you guys so much! It was an honor that you came to Council Bluffs. Over the years, people have called me a KISS Nerd. I have recently told them that I'm not a nerd, I'm a FREAK! For example... I have quite a few collectables such as the KISS Mr. Potato Heads and M&Ms. A 6ft tall cardboard stand up poster, and the World Domination poster. Don't forget all your CDs as well. I was Gene Simmons for halloween and am planning to be Eric Singer this year of 2010. Being a 12 year old I have a lot more years of being the KISS freak I am today. Whitney

Council Bluffs Concert

We told our daughter not to get Kiss tickets because she is suppose to be saving her money for college. Plus a 3hr drive in the middle of winter on occasion can be dangerous. But she did it anyway. So since tickets aren't refundable Dad drove her and a friend over. This is a girl who tells us that all music from our era sucks so we were surprised when she wanted to go!! I received texts from her all night saying "OMG this is unbelievable, OMG he spit fire, he spit blood, he flew right over us!! AS you can see she was very excited. She said that the Kiss Concert was the most awesome she has ever been too!! And believe me she goes to as many concerts as she possibly can. So it does these 50+ parents good to hear from our daughter that she finds one of the bands from our era Awesome!! The only regret we have is that we didn't have the opportunity to go with her!! Thanks KISS for showing her that bands from our ERA can really ROCK!!!! from grateful parents

dreams come true

Dear Kiss, I'm 17 years old and I live in Des Moines, Iowa. You've been my favorite band since I was old enough to sing back the words to "Shout It Out Loud." I've looked up to the members of Kiss, past and present, since I went to my first concert, 8/30/2000 in Ames, Iowa. You were on your farewell tour and i was lucky enough to see it happen. Since then, I've only dreamt of the day I'd see the greatest band in the world again and on November 7 I did in Minneapolis. You made me the happiest person in the world for a night. You're my heros and people need a group of guys like you to look up too. Nobody else has accomplished what you have and I just want to say thanks for all you've done for the world, and especially me. Everytime I hear your music it makes me want to succeed and try harder at everything I do and to be successful like you. So thanks alot for everything, and I definately hope you come to Des Moines next year! Thanks for the best show I've ever seen. Zach

20th KISS Concert

This past friday night in Council Bluffs, Iowa marked my 2oth Kiss show since 1976. I remember very clearly as a 10 year old being dropped off with my 17 year old brother at Cobo Hall by our unsuspecting father. He had no idea we were members of the KISS army, and we didn't tell him either! Since that first show all those years ago, I've seen KISS at Cobo Hall, Tiger Stadium and Pine Knob... and now, Council Bluffs! A native Detroiter, we feel KISS is ours and we share them with the world! KISS has been rocking the world for 35 years... and I'm glad I could share the experience with my step-son Will on his 13th Birthday. The show was great as ever, and the boys still rock. It was cold outside, but the hottest band in the world kept in warm inside the MAC center. THANKS for 35 years of great music and memories! Steve Buchanan
