Omaha Show

HI KISS! My name is Carlye and I'm thirteen years old and live in Grand Island, Nebraska! I really became a KISS fan on my own terms, I decided to look you guys up one day and instantly fell in love with the music, entertainment, members, and spectacles of KISS. You guys are the first band I ever found out about in my life, when I was about two or three (during the reunion tour I believe), I remember seeing a documentary of KISS on TV and was in complete awe of them, never ever forgot about them since. The first record I ever heard from KISS was "Alive!", and wow, it was amazing. Now I'm a HUGE fan. You guys really inspire me and are probably my favorite band of all time! :D Even though I live only about 3 hours away from Omaha, NE.... Unfortunately I couldn't make it to the Omaha show last night due to many reasons, the bad weather, and the fact of being 13 years old and the ONLY KISS fan in my family doesn't help either. I just wanted to say, that it really destroyed me that I couldn't come and see you guys perform. It's my dream to see you perform live in concert, I hope this isn't the last chance I have. :( Hopefully, you enjoyed performing for us Nebraskans! You really brought a lot of excitement and joy into us for coming here!! Please return to Nebraska! You have no clue how happy we would be if you came back here! Thank you KISS. I love you to death. Everyone one of you! Paul, Gene, Peter, Ace, Eric Carr, Eric Singer, Bruce, Tommy, Vinnie, Mark. All of KISS. :D

KISStory

Hey guys. I've been rockin' out to KISS since my first 8-track tape and vinyl album in 1974 in junior high. My first concert ever was KISS in Wichita during the Alive II tour in December 1976 before there was internet. The only way of knowing about the show, living in far western Kansas, was by an advertisement placed in the Wichita newspaper. I've been fortunate enough to see KISS 14 times throughout the years and have seen all the members except the late Mark St. John. My wife of 27 years now got me the best Christmas present ever this year by purchasing a Meet and Greet session for the Dec. 2009 show in Dallas, a 6 hour drive. You guys were absolutely great to allow us to take in our cameras and some personal items to be hand signed. Even though I've been able to purchase some hand signed items such as Kisstory, etc. it was so exciting to actually watch see you sign my items right before my two eyes and thank us for coming and hoping we would enjoy the show that evening. I haven't spent as much money as some have been able to do on memorabilia or traveling to shows, but I've been through it all with you and appreciate everything KISS does for its fans. I remember some of my good friends and neighbors in the mid 70's saying KISS was satanic and the letters stood for various words all the while knowing it was just good ole plain rock and roll that KISS was about. No drinking, no cussing, no smoking; Just kicking out the best shows in the world day in and day out, year after year through 3+ decades outlasting everyone. The shows never cease to amaze me and just when I thought I'd seen it all, KISS delivered again in Dallas. The spinning drum kit, small circling stage for Paul, and bells during Gene's solo were just a few added highlights that keep things fresh along with the great new CD, Sonic Boom. Thanks for the memories and thanks for rock and rolling all nite and partying every day with the young kids to the elderly folks I've seen at shows. Sincerely, Robert in Kansas

Council Bluffs Show

Thanks for a great show Friday night in Council Bluffs Iowa. It was my 8th KISS show and my son's 2nd. Everybody that went to the show should give a little extra thanks to Paul. It was obvious from the first song that his back was really hurting, but he fought through the pain. For almost 4 decades, you have shown everybody how the "BIG BOYS" do it, and once again you did.

Meet & Greet Photos

I've been fortunate enough to attend three Meet & Greet sessions in the last six months (Milwaukee, Dallas, Kansas City) and love the photo opportunities with the band. Because I wanted to have something unique result from my third photo session, I brought in the four KISS ski masks I recently purchased. Thank you KISS for having a great sense of humor and indulging my friends and me while we tried to create something a bit different and highly memorable! Sincerely, Scott

Thanks From Tulsa!

Thank you SO MUCH for adding Tulsa to your tour! That was my first KISS concert and OMG worth every penny. Someone asked me if I had fun - after raving for a while, I added "And it was an interactive experience! Felt the heat from the fire and stuff onstage and the cold air from the confetti cannons" (And we were 9 rows back right in front of Tommy). Guys - thanks again - SO MUCH - for adding us, plus for giving your time to that school and "Extreme Home Makeover" family. Hope you had a good time. You sure made Tulsa proud! You are welcome to come back ANY TIME!!
