My name is Brian Durbin, and I am the vocalist/guitarist of a Chicago band called LOVEBLAST. I am also a senior at Elmhurst College in Elmhurst, Illinois. My music theory teacher assigned a project where we had to take a Christmas song and arrange it in our favorite style, and this new arrangement would be performed in class. My favorite band is KISS, but due to the fact that Gene and Paul are Jewish, I wanted to tribute their heritage at this time of year instead of using a Christmas song. I decided to merge "Rock and Roll All Nite," by KISS, and "The Dreydl Song," composed by Samuel E. Goldfarb and S.S. Grossman. The end result was my instrumental recording of "Rock and Roll All Chanukah and Dreydl Every Day." I would also like to note that I used bits of Bruce Kulick's "Rock and Roll All Nite," solo from KISS' Alive III in the solo section of my recording because he is also Jewish. Oh yah! Yah Yah! Whatever way you guys want to put it, niether works today. It is December 15th and KISS was to rock down our house in Sault Ste. Marie. Well as we all know that isn't happening. You have know idea how many people our truly depressed today. There are so many rumours rolling around town to what the reason was why KISS did not come. I hope the weather story is the truth and you guys do show up next summer. To be honest I think that Sonic Boom is the best piece of work you guys have ever done, so the Sonic Boom over Sault Ste. Marie will be a treat for your devoted fans. Please don't disappoint us again.

This is my Uncle and I before our first ever KISS show in Pittsburgh, PA. It was the BEST!!! I hope some day you come back so I can take my Son. Thanks for a night we will never forget.
