I got to share what I got from my family when I turned 30, this is so amazing. My brother in law built a round table, with a pull-out shelf with 3 glasses and the liquor of choice, in this case the latest KISS wine. And then they got the famous artist Terje Aspmo (did the Motorhead bikes for example) to add a fantastic airbrush motive on the table. It looks absolutely stunning, I am so happy and blessed that my family continuously goes the extra mile to show me how much they love me, this will be the centre piece of my living room for as long as I live! Ive been a KISS Fan ever since i can remember, as a small child my dad used to blast their records throughout the house so i was either going to love it or hate it, fortunately the Music was so good i ended up loving it. the first KISS Album i ever got was revenge for my 9th Birthday and it carried on from there. from listening to my dad's KISS Albums to buying them for myself to have my own copies to wear out like a lot of KISS Fans ive taken a lot of stick for liking the band, people who dont understand and cant get past the makeup and laugh at the band. their loss KISS is more than a band its a way of life, once the disease of KISS gets you your hooked for Life ive only managed to see the band live once in glasgow in 2010 on the sonic boom tour but it was well the wait, finally seeing the band brought tears to my eyes and i just hope they'll come to glasgow sooner rather than later. happy 40th to the greatrst band that ever lived you wanted the best you got the best KISSSSSS

I became a Kiss fan on 1980, I was about to turn 3 years old. My grandfather gave my first LP (a compilation of the solo albums). From 1980 to 1982, my family bought me all Kiss records except for the first album, Double Platinum and the solo albums... By 1990, I lost contact with Kiss (no internet at the time). In 1992, with the help of my friends I new about the release of Revenge and I came back to the Kiss camp, getting all the albums on CD in the 3 or 4 years to come. My first Kiss show was on the Monsters Of Rock Festival in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Sep 4th 1994. And from there, I saw the band 4 more times (1997, 1999, 2009 and 2012), in Argentina of course. I meet Bruce Kulick, Eric Singer and Tommy Thayer in the last 3 years, never had the chance to meet Gene & Paul so far, but, who knows, maybe in the future?... Love Monster and I'm looking forward for the 40th Anniversary celebration, what ever it's gonna be. Love this band and always will, cheers Kiss, Happy 40th Anniversary!!!! first thing i want to say is being a kiss fan in the late 70s was a totally different animal than it is today.... i became a kiss fan in the summer 77,i was 13 at the time,love gun was my first kiss album,i was in junior high at the time,everybody in my school and neighborhood hated kiss,except for me and a few of my friends.i was literally the only person in my whole junior high and high school who had the balls to wear kiss t-shirts to school,the handfull of other kiss fans from my area were afraid to even admit they were kiss fans... but to me kiss was everything,the music the image the show,they were and still are the ultimate hard rock/metal band!!! cant tell u how many arguments i got into with kiss haters. i lived and breathed kiss,i could tell u every song on every album in the order they came on the albums,i new everything about kiss more than anybody i had ever met! i saw kiss twice on love gun tour,once at the la forum and the magic moutain show. which to this day is the best kiss show i had ever fuckin seen! twice on dynasty tour and once on creatures tour...as far as the first make up era kiss. and every tour since. out of the 35 years i been a kiss fan,those first 3 or 4 years were the most memorable,because it was a day to day grind dealing with kiss haters,any old school real kiss fans out there know exactly what im talking about,the one's who werent afraid to stand up for what they believe in!!!
