My third KISS show

Dear KISS, My name is Brendan and I am 14 years old and I'm from Toronto,Ontario. My brother and I are both HUGE KISS fans. We went to your show last week at the Molson Canadian Amphitheatre and it was amazing! You guys continue to put on a very entertaining show! By the way, Paul I love the fact that you mentioned the fact how you love Tim Hortons in the two times I saw you in Toronto. I saw you guys twice last year, once in Toronto at the Air Canada Centre and I aslo saw you guys in Oshawa at the GM Centre. The ACC show was quite a wild experience. During the first song Tommy Thayer threw a guitar pick right at me and I missed it so the guy behind me got it. I was pretty mad. To top that off the sound went out during the end of the first song of the show. But then when you guys came back out the crowd went crazy! From then on it was an amazing show! get this though. During Rock and Roll All Nite Doc McGhee started to hand out guitar picks and he gave my brother and I one of Paul Stanley's guitar picks. We were thrilled! Then next week we saw you guys in Oshawa a.k.a. The Shwa and once again, Doc started to hand out guitar picks to fans during Rock And Roll All Nite and he gave some to us again. Thanks for reading myu letter and keep up the good work and come back to T.O. as soon as you can. Brendan.

Houston Show, Sep 17

Dear KISS, Last night was my first KISS show since 1996, and I was truly blown away by the experience. It was also my 7-year old daughter's first concert - I think I've been preparing her for it her whole life. It was truly a joy to watch her rock out and sing Calling Dr. Love word for word. But I really wanted to thank you from the bottom of my heart for the tribute you paid to myself and my brothers and sisters in uniform. I've done three tours in Iraq and have lost a lot of good people that I've known both there and in Afghanistan. To know that my favorite band is so supportive of what we do is a level of gratitude I can't fully express. You guys might be proud of what we do, but a lot of times it was KISS that got me (and others) through a lot of bad times. God bless KISS. Sincerely, SGT Ted Fattel, US Army

Son's First Concert Experience

My 11 year old son, Max, and I were at the September 17th Kiss Koncert in Houston and this was his very first concert of any kind. He has become a huge KISS fan and is a beginning percussionist in school. I am writing to thank all the members of the KISS family for the fantastic show that night. Not only did Max have the time of his life, watching his idols live in concert, but I cried with joy watching Max throughout the night. You have made a proud father even more proud. I will forever be in your debt (and will be going again on the 19th to San Antonio!). My sincerest thanks.

Hover

My son's band name is Hover and they are Kiss fanatics!! They do alot of community service and have received a Senate Proclamation for outstanding volunteer work. They finished 2nd place in the largest national Battle of the Band competition put on by dosomethin.org and VH1! Over 850 bands competed! They are 14 years old and are amazing. We are from a very small town with little chance of being recognized. I am trying to get their name out there! Please check out their Kiss videos on youtube. Just type Hover Kiss amazing and enjoy the music. These are not professional videos but you can get the idea. Thank you for your time. Eileen

Houston, Tx Concert 09/17/10

Dear Kiss, I would like to commend your performance in Houston, Tx 09/17/10. My husband and I like to watch "Family Jewels". My two girls 10 years old and 12 years old watch with us. When the concert was announced 3 or 4 months ago, my girls wanted to go. I was hesitant to bring them because of our last experience with the "Fall Out Boy Concert". The previous concert was filled with obscenities and vulgar language, which was definately not appropriate for a younger audience. Thank you for making their 2nd concert a memorable experience!! I was so impressed with the fact that obscenities and the vulgar language was not screamed into the audience, plus the fact that families were there with their young children made it a truly enjoyable experience.. The music was GREAT and the stage performance was the BEST!!! My husband enjoyed your performance in the 80"s on one of the beaches in Galveston, TX the best, but I liked this one!!! We look forward to seeing you again soon!!

KISS NEVER DISAPPOINTS!!

Dreams do come true! One of my biggest dreams as a farther was to take my son, Collin, to a Kiss concert and have him experience the visual assault from a live Kiss concert. Well last night in Houston, Texas that dream came true for my thirteen year old son Collin as he watched with amazement a rock and roll, Barnum & Bailey circus on steriods! What is truly ironic is that when I was thirteen years old each Saturday I would ride my bike down to the local record store to check out the latest albums. Little did I know this Saturday morning at the record store would change my life forever. As I was looking through all of the latest albums-- there it was Kiss Alive! and I could not believe what I was seeing on the cover shot. It totally captivated me and somehow I had to get a copy of that album. Not ever hearing of Kiss or any of their songs, I went home and cut grass and did chores so I could earn enough money to purchase the album(since it was a double LP!). Ever since then until now Kiss has been a huge part of my life as well as an inspiration. What is also ironic is that leading up to the concert my son Collin was somewhat "lukewarm" about going to the concert. We watched as many dvd's from my library as possible so he would have some small idea of what it was going to be like at the show. I can honestly say now that he has experienced a live Kiss concert first hand his enthusiasm for Kiss has never been greater. This is what is unique about Kiss since the early 70's when their album sales were modest, but those that went to the live Kiss concerts truly understood their intensity and showmanship. That is what made Alive! the best live album of all time. Last night's set list was incredible! Opening with Sonic Boom's "Modern Day Delilah" and then going back to their roots with "Deuce", "100,000 Years", "Black Diamond" and everything in between. But the best part of the evening was when Paul was waiving the American flag and honoring the troops and acknowledging that we live in the greatest country on earth. It brought a tear to my eye when Paul had everyone put their right hand on their heart and recite the Pledge of Alligence. Paul, Gene, Tommy and Eric-- thanks for your efforts and recognition to the troops of this country that keep America free. Without them we would not be where we are today. Thanks for 35 years of memories, good times, and a group that you can believe in that never, never, disappoints!! Everytime I go to a Kiss concert I say to myself it can't get any better but somehow each time Kiss keeps "raising the bar" on the show. Thanks for giving my son the concert experience of a lifetime and making one of my dreams come true. I truly look forward to the next 35 years of Kisstory!!!
