Rock & Brews Restaurants Partner with Rock & Roll Fantasy Camp to Offer a Chance to Perform with Paul Stanley

Rock & Brews restaurants today announced their partnership with Rock and Roll Fantasy Camp, giving guests a chance to win an opportunity to jam with rock icon and Rock & Brews co-founder Paul Stanley and Don Felder, a former lead guitarist of The Eagles. The winner will also get to perform on stage with Stanley at the legendary Whisky a Go Go in West Hollywood, in celebration of the camp�s 20th anniversary.

Rock & Brews and Rock and Roll Fantasy Camp are offering one lucky winner a spot in the �God of Thunder� headline package, June 23-26. Over the course of four music-filled days, attendees will be placed in bands led by rock star counselors including Rudy Sarzo of Quiet Riot and Vinnie Appice of Black Sabbath. Get Well Quick Ace!

Ace Frehley was admitted to Wilkes-Barre General Hospital following his show last night at the F.M. Kirby Center in Wilkes-Barre, PA. After extensive testing, it was determined that Ace�s symptoms were due to exhaustion and dehydration.

In consultation with his doctors, Ace, who aside from the exhaustion and dehydration has been given a clean bill of health, has reluctantly agreed to cancel tonight�s sold out show at the Chance in Poughkeepsie, NY. The venue is working to reschedule the date in late September and expects to announce an exact date later this week.

Once released from the hospital, Ace will be heading home to Southern California to recuperate. We wish him a speedy recovery.

Hear Ace Frehley and Paul Stanley's First Song Together in 18 Years

Fifteen years ago this week, Ace Frehley played his last gig as a member of KISS. Now, after years of public bad blood, he's releasing a covers album that features his first song in nearly two decades with his old bandmate Paul Stanley. "Fire and Water," originally recorded by Free, will appear on Origins Vol. 1, which comes out tomorrow.

For all the back-and-forth slogging in the press, though � especially around the bad's 2014 induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame � both Frehley and Stanley say they've never not been friends. "We are linked together forever," Stanley tells Rolling Stone. "We created something that will live far past our lifetimes. And I would love to see him succeed."

"We've always been friends," Frehley said in February. "The press seems to amplify negativity. I guess it makes good copy."

"People look through the windows and the see mouths move, but they don't hear what's being said," Stanley says. "I was happy Ace called me up with this. It's very funny, because on my phone when he called, his name comes up, and it put a smile on my face. Like, I pick up the phone and go, 'Ace Frehley!'"
