KISS Concert

Hey KISS Just wanted to show a picture of us four just before we left for the Winnipeg show. Thought we would go and support you guys "Dressed to Kill", not knowing however it would be a big hit for other fans as it seem we couldn't walk around the concourse for five seconds without someone wanting our pictures, we felt like rock stars. Just goes to show what legacy you have left over the years, is still as big as ever. Thank you guys for such a great show it was awesome, me and my dad, his friend Denis and his son Joel had the time of our lives, shouting it out loud with thousands. Thank you once again for coming to Winnipeg, hope you guys can come back soon. Remember "WINNIPEG LOVES KISS"

Great Concert

Good show in Minneapolis last week! I have been a fan of the original band since 1975 and saw the reunion tour which rocked. I was very skeptical I must say about how the concert was going to be. I saw the newest lineup in 2005 out in Float Rite Park, Wisconsin. I didn't like that show because to me it didn't live up to the spark that for instance the Reunion Tour did, and the new Space Ace looked a little uncomfortable and out of place onstage in the Space Man getup. I am a big Ace Frehley fan so I wasn't giving mister Tommy Thayer a chance. BUT!!!!!!!!!!! The Minneapolis concert was by far the best show out of 4 that I have seen (82, 96, 05, 09). The band has definitely come into it's own again and It lives up to the legend that lives a long legacy in it's path. Mister Thayer was spot on in his performance the whole night so..... Okay....the guy is the new Spaceman, I get it now!!!....and what a Spaceman he is! Who says Jendell only has one guy living on the whole planet! Maybe this one is the real Spaceman and the guy we saw onstage for the first decade or so was just a drunk impersonator. LOL!!! Eric Singer kicks butt as always. Sorry to say, he makes Peter Criss look like.....Peter Criss. They are not even in the same league when it comes to playing the tubs. The guys is just a great drummer. Gene rocked as his usual demonic self in rare form, and Paul was the ring master with the great voice as usual. It is always fun to see Gene and Paul perform. It was my son's first rock concert. I was trying to explain to him about going to a concert and how fun it was to see a rock band, and there is really no way to do without actually bringing him to one, and what better concert to do that with than KISS. He is 8 years old, what's not to like. I was very happy that he was not surrounded by pot smoke, smelly hippies tripping on ACID (which by the way, if they sweat in out and accidentally rub up against you, you will also start tripping...I know this) or mean nasty people. Everyone was friendly and the people sitting next to me even watched my son, and I went to the washroom. It was very friendly crowd and definitely a lot different from the first time I saw the band (through a large fog of blue smoke in the 15th row....cough, cough). It's the most fun I have ever had at a large show, and the least amount of hassle. Great time and we will definitely see this band again. Anyway, here is my son Alex and me...with my best Gene face (sorry no makeup). Have fun on the road and we will see you again. TommyBoye (the reconverted KISS fan) and Alex

KISS in Little Rock

I have listened to your band for 32yrs. and I thought that I would never get to see your show. My husband and I have been attending a lot of "long-haired" bands over the years. He wanted to know who I wanted to see and I told him that the ones that I wanted to truly see were not touring anymore in the states. I was sooo excited to see that you all were going to be in the states. We had to drive 3 hrs to see you, but it was well worth it. Your show rocks. Paul I told you back stage that I wanted the guitar that you were going to break on stage. I was in the 2nd row center stage..LOL Since you did not give it to anyone at the show, I am still waiting for it arrive at my front door. SOOO Paul when can I expect it to be delivered? I also would like to have a set of the guitar pics that you all use at the show. We got pics in the mail with our package, but they were not like the ones from the show. I wanted one of the silver ones that Gene has for the shows. Gene it is good to hear that Nick is taller than you are. For some reasons, our sons(my son is 6'8) think that they have to tower over us. LOL None of them came my way. I guess that is one of the downfalls of having close seats. I wish that KISS would play near MEMPHIS, so I can see the show at least ONE MORE TIME. The meet and greet that my husband arranged was icing on the cake for me. The only complaint for the show is that it was over too soon. I hope that you all keep on rocking for years to come. I know that you may not be able to keep up the tour pace that you have for North America. Sonic Boom rocks. Hope to see you guys real soon. ..... Diane L

The new issue of KinKats-Magazine is out on Nov. 11th in Europe and I'm very proud to have gotten a chance to speak with the "God Of Thunder" for the interview in it. The issue includes a four page interview with Gene, two pages with Ace and the KinKats Centerfold with Gene Simmons make up on the cover and no clothes on the inside. More girls and more interview (Rammstein, Wasp, Gwar, Lita Ford, Jack Ketchum, Christian Bale...) are also included. PLUS. The four editors put on KISS Face-paint for the editorial!

Doc With My Kids and My Son On The Big Screen

I took my family to see KISS on Saturday at the Target Center in Minnesota, it was my son Dylan's 6th birthday. We were in the 4th row on the floor and during the concert KISS's manager Doc Magee came walking up to me and my family and handed my kids KISS guitar picks. He asked if my kids had ear plugs in and even stayed for a picture. He truely is a great manager and I thank him for his kindness. The best part of the concert was seeing my son Dylan's face on the huge screen behind the band and the entire audience seeing him in his makeup. After we got back to the hotel Dylan told me the concert was the best birthday present ever. My kids were so amazed by the entire experience. It was a very fun time. Thank you KISS.
