About 1989 i wrote to the kiss fan address on the back of one of their cassettes, told them about the day i went to my buddys to go help him work on his 1957 danelectro bring it back to life from flood damage. my friend lived on this mountain overlooking a state park and on the road below was a hangout for teens in the parking lot, its kinda hard tuning a antique guitar with rap music blaring from that parking lot about 90ft below, so we decieded to hook up a couple mic's to a boombox and feed in some kiss dressed to kill through a couple of crate amps, we mustof played about 4 hours of kiss tunes that night at nearly full power. the next day, my buddy calls me up and says that the rap music has stopped and all the kids down in the vally parking lot are cranking out KISS tunes from their cars! about 1990 i get a phone call from a guy claiming to be eric carr from kiss, at first i thought it was one of my friends screwing around, until he read my letter back. he was the coolest guy to talk with we talked about everything from music to astronomy. it was like i knew him all my life. he assured me that KISS will be playing from wheelchairs in their old age. Eric Carr was the most excellent human being in the world. ROCK ON ERIC CARR!

I am a huge big fan of KISS! You are so awsome! My friend Brandon went to see a KISS concert and he told me that he liked it so much. I just joined the KISS Army and it was so neat! I have the limited edition band set. You are so great about writing these songs. JAKE rock on Kiss

I got sonic boom for a Christmas present and it was great. I watched the video and it put a big smile on my face. I just wanted to say Happy Holidays to all the guys from Kiss and thanks for all you guys do. The new album is great! You guys always give people their moneys worth and more.

Hey Kiss, I am 14 and have never been more excited in my entire life! I received the best Christmas present today: tickets to see you guys in May at the Metro Radio Arena in Newcastle! I'm going with my parents (I've never seen them so excited) and seriously can't wait to "rock 'n' roll all night". I have only been listening to Kiss for a few years, but you are definately the most played band on my iPod!! And I just have to say: Sonic Boom was DEFINATELY worth the wait! See you in May! Bye! I want to thank you guys from the bottom of my heart for one of the best KISS years yet. I know I can speak for just about every fan on the planet when I say THANK YOU FOR SONIC BOOM! It was everything we had hoped for and more. I'm just hoping that it won't be the last. Way too much talent there to not use it! I also want to thank for for the killer tour of the states. The new costumes and the new stage were just what I was looking to see from you guys and as always you delivered. The past year has really made me come to accept and appreciate Tommy and Eric. I have always been a die hard fan of the original lineup. I probably always will. But I finally feel like KISS is not only complete again...but sounding better than they you guys ever have.
