Here's my latest Kiss art, KISS Rules..!!

My four and half year old son, Simon, has been a KISS fan for about a year or so now. His favorite songs are "Shout It Out Loud" & "Stand". He loves to watch my KISS dvds and try and play along (air guitar) with the band. In the past it's been Paul and Tommy....but that was until Simon noticed Gene's Axe Bass. What put it over the top was when Simon saw the Guitar Hero controller (based off Gene's Axe) at Wal-Mart, and has been asking for one ever since. We tried to explain how much it was and the fact that we don't even have the game. But Simon's been begging for it non stop, even to tears. He even brought out his piggy bank and gave it to us to put toward the cost of the toy guitar. After my wife recovered from the sweetness of our boy, she decided to make an Axe replica for Simon so he can rock right along with Gene. Not bad for some cardboard, paint, and duct tape huh? Simon sure likes it. Rock on little guy!!

I've written you guys before, I've sent pictures of my son William rockin' his Destroyer onesie. Now that he's approaching two, and developing his personality, it appears he's shaping up to be a Kiss Army Elitist just like his father!!! In fact, yesterday, when my wife heard Will come out of his room saying "Kiss," she had assumed he was wanting to give mom hugs and kisses. When she turned around, she saw our son reaching for my copry of the Ultimate Kiss Fanzine Phenomenon and saying "Kiss? Kiss?" Anyway, I thought it was the cutest thing ever, and I was indeed a very proud Dad! I just wanted to send you a picture of him thumbing through the book!

I just recently took my brother, Ben, to see our very first KISS show in Little Rock (Verizon Arena), back in October. It was EVERYTHING I expected it to be. We both have been huge fans since we were babies, so it was like a dream come true. Tommy playing "Shock Me" was the highlight for me. Kinda wish it could've been Ace, but Tommy is awesome no less. Thank you for still rockin' and rollin', and I'm glad I didn't die before I got to see you play. Paul, Gene, Tommy and Eric... from the bottom of my heart, you guys will always be my favorite band. My girlfriend makes fun of my obsession with KISS, but she just doesn't get it. Haha. Oh, and next to LOVE GUN and REVENGE, SONIC BOOM is my FAVORITE album!!!!! Thank you SO much!!!!!!

Hi guys, I hope to send another note sometime soon with pictures of me and my wife (Jessica Verday -author of The Hollow Trilogy) dressed up as Gene and Paul.
