I am 39 yrs. old and have been a KISS fan since 1975 after hearing my mom's DRESSED TO KILL 8- track. I've been to every KISS concert held in Indianapolis from The DYNASTY Tour to now, which is 14 times and counting. I have purchased tickets to your upcoming Indiana State Fair concert and am hoping I can upgrade my tickets to the Meet & Greet package. But if I can't I wanted to take this opportunity to finally thank Paul & Gene for being such a positive force in my life. Everything from listening to your music, watching videos, & collecting merchandise has brought me so much joy. KISS really is a way of life. And that life has been nothing but happy and entertaining. I don't think you guys get near the respect or credit you deserve. Gene you have to be the most intelligent musician to ever live. The way you have created what I like to call KISS WORLD with the merchandise is simply genius. Alot of people think it's kiddish or over the top but they don't understand that when you love something there's no such thing as too much. I have to be honest Gene that I haven't been your biggest fan through the years. But I do admire your intelligence, work ethic, & showmanship. I especially admire the way you are with your kids. I watch Family Jewels every Sunday and as I am a father myself I think your a role model for all Dads out there. As for you Paul well your my idol. You don't get the credit you deserve as both a singer or a songwriter. You definately don't get the credit you deserve as a performer. I've read in articles where Gene said that your voice is as strong at the end of a tour as it was at the beginning. To me that is inhuman. And there is noone better at commanding a crowd than you. You are simply the greatest musician of all time. Hell I don't think you get the credit you deserve within KISS. Everybody thinks of Gene if you mention KISS but your the one who sings and writes most of the songs. Hell you even wrote Gene's signature song GOD OF THUNDER. You produced KISS albums in the 80's when Gene was making films. Simply I beleive You are KISS. And as like Gene I also admire the person you are. You are a consumate professional. It's people like you and Gene that prove that you don't have to be fucked up on drugs or alcohol to be a colorful or successful rock star. As long as you and Gene are a part of my life in some form my world will never be without a hero. God may have given rock n' roll to you but KISS gave rock n' roll to me and I could never thank you enough for what that has meant to me over the past 35 years. I just hope this letter let's you know how much I appreciate everything you've done. KISS FOREVER! As for all those KISS fans out there who are pissed that KISS isn't in the ROCK AND ROLL HALL OF FAME I say this. Who fucking cares. Let all of those other artists be in their little club. It is only fitting KISS are not with them because KISS is in a league of their own! ROCK ON MY FELLOW KISS ARMY SOLDIERS
