A debt of gratitude...

My husband just returned from a year-long tour of duty in Iraq. Over the past several weeks since his homecoming, he's been slowly opening up about his experience, which was more traumatic than he let on to me during the months we was away. He was prepared physically to serve his country but emotionally, the experience has left an indelible mark on him and at times, not for the better. In learning of his experience I came to more fully understand the profound effect that music can have on a person. During those stressful times, he and his soldiers came to rely on music for comfort when no other reminder of home was available. In my husband's case, it was listening to KISS music on his music player, in his military vehicle, and during those precious moments of downtime he had. Now back home, he is a more devout fan than he was before he left. When his mind wanders back to those darker experiences of his deployment, I know to play some KISS music. Like a miracle cure, he snaps out of his melancholy. Thank you, KISS, for continuing to give your fans the music that, for some, has become more important than words can fully express. I'm sure that he'd love to be able to thank KISS personally for the extraordinary moral support you've shown to our troops (and for himself) but if he never gets to do so, at least he'll have the pleasure of going to his first KISS concert in a few days (to which I'm giving him tickets to as an early birthday surprise). Again, on behalf of my husband, and myself, thank you for continuing to bring your music to your fans.

Godson First KISS Concert

On July the 13th, 1979 I saw my first KISS concert at the Pontiac Silverdome in Michigan at the age of 12. On July 29th, 2010 I took my Godson Valentino to his first KISS Concert in Pittsburgh, PA. at the age of 12. We made the journey because my brother Bartolo is in the Air Force and is stationed in Germany. My Godson has to be back before KISS comes to Detroit September 11th. I guess I'm the coolest Godfather according to him! Thank you Gene, Paul, Tommy & Eric for your donations to the Wounded Warrior foundaton. See you soon!

2004 KISS TOUR

I was lucky enough to see KISS in concert eleven times in fourteen days in 2004 on my vacation! My first concert on the tour was in Kansas City then St. Louis, Detroit, Nashville, Indianapolis, Phillidelphia, Cleveland, Milwaukee, Chicago, Columbus then Cincinnati. That's eleven concerts in nine states in fourteen days! I drove 5198 miles and spent $3200.00. I'd do it all ove again anytime I could. KISS! ROCK-N-ROLL!!!!!!!!

Son & Gene Bass

Hi KISS, Six more days, and you'll be here at Jones Beach and it will be my son Eric's first concert. What better concert then KISS for his first? NON OTHER!!!! Plus I bought us the meet and greet. He is very psyched. I have been a constant and devoted fan since I was NINE years old. 36 years later I am still proud and honored to say I AM GOING TO SEE KISS. I get like a little kid who was given free reign at toys r us. Anyway, here is a picture of my son with his Gene Bass. WE LOVE YOU, and thank you for giving us all these years of great music, and a show that no one has, is or ever will come close to doing. Tony .V. & Eric
