Saratoga Springs, NY Concert

Dear Kiss Members: I just wanted to THANK YOU for another FANTASTIC show!!! I took my 15-year-old son, who is a special needs child, to your concert on August 17th at Saratoga Springs, NY. He absolutely LOVED it!!! He was up all night, signing (he is non-verbal) his fingers away! There isn't ANYTHING better in the world than to see your child excited and happy! I can't thank you enough for bringing that excitement and joy to my child!!!!! You have no idea the impact you have made on him. He will never forget that night. I was thrilled we were 6th row center and got to share in the utter excitement of the night!!! He swears Gene and Paul looked right at him! Again, THANK YOU! You have all made a very "special" child a fan for life! And his mother too!

24 hours of KISS

Hello KISS!!! I cannot wait for next week when I catch the meet and greet in Milwaukee with my friend of nearly 30 years!! KISS music and the live shows have been the soundtrack of our friendship!! Is that enough for me??No way!! After the Milwaukee show I will pick up my sister, my 12 year old nephew and take off to Chicago so I can pass the KISS Army torch on to the next generation!! It will be my nephew's first concert ever and I wanted him to start with the best!!! In Chicago I get a bonus! An old friend of mine that used to rep for Polygram/ Mercury will be joining us! Gene always called him Tommy Lee as he was (and is) a dead ringer for Lee. If luck is on our side we can pull a another meet and greet in Chicago for the four of us! Either way, we cannot wait because WE WANT THE BEST AND WE WILL GET THE BEST!!! Thanks for all the great memories...past, present, and future!!!

3 Strategies For Getting Eric Singer Pics (Part 3 "The Hawk")

Your best chance to get a good picture of Eric Singer is when he sings "Beth". This is from the Boston show on August 7, 2010. I was sold on Eric Carr the first time I heard "Escape From The Island" from THE ELDER. He really was a man among men. A giant. It would be nearly impossible for anyone to have to try to live up to the legacy he left behind as a fans fan. REVENGE was a sort of a mourning period for me. I was sold on Eric Singer when I heard "Detroit Rock City" on KISS ALIVE III. I'm not a drummer, it sounded like he was kicking a double, triple, or quadruple beat on that song. He made it heavier and moved it into a new time period. When KISS had the reunion tour I felt badly for Bruce and Eric. To them it must have seemed as though everyone else was having a good time at their expense. KISS fans did not reject them. KISS fans worked real hard over the years to build a legacy that could only have been finalized with a reunion tour. More like an exclamation point. For my generation KISS is like The Beatles. The hopes and dreams of millions of people disappeared the day John Lennon was shot. The Beatles could never reunite. KISS did reunite. For the fans, for the money or for the legacy does not matter. The hopes and dreams of millions of people were realized. I can honestly say the current KISS line-up is the best ever. For many reasons. I do not think of Eric or Tommy as fill ins. Eric and Tommy seem to be on the same level as Gene and Paul. They seem to have the same drive and dedication.

3 Strategies For Getting Eric Singer Pics (Part 2 "Jackpot")

I'm a long time KISS fan who had a little money and a little time this summer to try my experiment. I am a novice photographer who bought a new basic $80.00 digital camera (at the same place you can buy SONIC BOOM). I bought my tickets through various brokers, agents and online sellers. I wanted to know what a novice photographer with a cheap camera could do. My only advantage was having been a KISS fan for so long I would know when and where to point the camera. My camera would only take a picture every 5 or 6 seconds, it seemed. Probably more like 3 or 4 seconds in reality. With this I lead you to "Jackpot". If you point your camera at Eric and his drum kit during his solo after "Shock Me" and just keep pushing the shutter button you will get live action shots. Most of them will be blurry. Since the stage lighting in rapidly changing, most of them will be spoiled with lighting. If you are lucky you will get one like this. After looking through the results of this experiment my literal reaction to seeing this picture was, "Jackpot".

3 Strategies For Getting Eric Singer Pics (Part 1 "Groundhog")

Most of the time Eric Singer is hiding behind his drum kit. Every now and then he will pop out, like a groundhog, and hold a pose for you to photograph. This is the classic rock drummer pose. This pic was taken after his drum solo (after "Shock Me") in Camden, NJ (Philadelphia) on August 6, 2010.

Tour in Toronto

Kiss, Just a quick note to let you know how excited we are to be coming to see your tour in Toronto on September 10. My husband has been a huge fan since before you were Kiss! He has all your old albums from when he was young and now has all your new ones and your dvd's. He lost his job a year ago and has been unable to find work since, we live in a small town and the economy is especially bad. We don't feel we can leave right now because both his parents are ill. I saved every penny I could in order to get tickets for him for our anniversary. He was so thrilled he cried, he has always wanted to see you live but has never been able to afford too. We have friends that live in Toronto so we just needed to get together enough gas money to drive out. I just wanted to thank you for the joy you have given so many people with your music including my husband! We can't wait to see you in Toronto. Maybe someday we will get to thank you in person but until then I will thank you from the bottom of my heart this way.

My 3 year old's first KISS concert!

Friday night, you KISS, were a milestone in my young son's life. I took my 3 year old to your concert in Holmdel, NJ and he loved it! His first rock concert and I am so glad it was KISS! Being an outdoor venue, we had blankets, snacks, toys and books, but it was the concert itself that held his attention. Unfortunately, he fell asleep about 3/4 of the way through and missed his favorite song, Rock n Roll All Night, which was the last song but he's still talking about it! Thank you KISS for making another great family memory!
