KISS-Best Show Of 2010

hi guys i am a regular gig goer in London. I saw over 200 gigs in 2010. over 5500 gigs seen by me since 1973. I have just done my Best Of 2010 List. KISS without doubt were Number One. i went to see KISS nine times on their European Tour inc an amazing meet and greet session with the band in Madrid,Spain. I was lucky enough to have seen Paul McCartney at The 100 Club and loads of other great gigs but KISS were better than all of them. Ray Morrissey---London www.raysgigs.com

KISS lineman

Telus Lineman Darryl Andrews cheered up the neighbourhood in Prince George, BC by donning his Gene Simmons belaclava while working on raised access telephone drops. Prince George suffered a sudden temperature drop reaching -32 keeping many people indoors. Darryl quipped, "Everybody needs the KISS of Winter"

Homage to Gene/KISS

Being a long time Kiss fan/Army member...I thought it a great idea to pay my respects by dressing up for my wifes annual company holiday party (this year themed 80's). Little did I know the commotion that would be stirred! Everybody wanted a picture with the gene-a-like. I ended up winning the costume contest with the get up... My hats (and boots!) off to you gentlemen.. moving in those platformed foot coverings is no less than a feet of magic! How you all do it all the time is beyond me! Thank you for being the AWESOME band that you are and for having such a wonderful impact on my life and the lives of so many. Be blessed-KISS FOREVER!

A Tragic Loss

Dear Kiss(Paul),My cousin Brandon Foster, who was a huge KISS fan, especially a fan of Paul, tragically died on Monday night at the young age of 18. Brandon loved KISS! He thought the world of Paul! He loved every song Paul wrote, every song Paul sang! He died from a brain tumor that was found too little too late. His Uncle Dennis knew he loved Paul so much that when Brandon was starting to slip out of this life into the next,he placed Brandon's Paul Stanley action figure next to him in his bed. I wanted to take the time to write to you and tell you about this great person who was taken from us all too soon. God bless.

KISS and my life

When my Dad was in 3rd grade, he discovered KISS and they have been his favorite band ever since. Consequently, I was raised on KISS. I even think that Rock and Roll All Nite is the first song I ever learned. KISS has always been my favorite band. When I was 10, KISS went on the farewell tour and of course my Dad went and saw it. I was dead set on going, but he felt that I was too young. I was so afraid that I would never see my favorite band live. However, I have now seen the band four times. We live in Princeton, WV, but my Dad and I drove to Detroit to see the bands final performance at Cobo Hall and even had 2nd row seats. What was even better is that we saw them twice this past summer and landed front row seats! My life is now complete. Obviously, my love for KISS is immense! It carries over into almost every aspect of my life. For Halloween, I carved a KISS pumpkin incorporating every member of the band into the design. For Christmas, my boyfriend bought me a paint your own Hello Kitty bank and of course I fashioned it in the style of Gene! Hello Kitty needs some rock in her life too! I wanted to send in a picture of both the pumpkin and Hello Kitty, but the website only allows for me to submit one photo. So, I guess Ill send in my latest Hello Kitty creation! Thank you, KISS, for your music and your inspiration. I love you!!!!!
