Check out this picture of Marco Borsato, dressed up as Gene. In a Dutch TV guide called Veronica Magazine, famous Dutch people are dressed up like their big heroes. Borsato, who is one of the most famous Dutch singers, chose Gene Simmons. Simmons was his all time favourite hero, he is quoted in the TV guide. Borsato was also a member of the KISS Army, back in the 70s. I thought you would like to see the picture.

Today, I join the kiss army. I'm very happy now. However, people in a lot of Japan are in deep sadness due to the damage of the severe earthquake and the tsunami. We wish to express our gratitude deeply for getting support to Japan from the dear KISS member and everybody of KISS ARMY all over the world.

New Dutch KISS Tribute band KISS LICKSS & #1 Dutch Singer Marco Borsato have teamed up together with Veronica Magazine & The Children Cancer Free Foundation (KIKA) to transform Marco Borsato into his childhood hero Gene Simmons. Dutch Bass player & Dutch Gene Simmons Robbert van Gorcum from Kiss Tribute band KISS LICKSS (www.kisslickss.com) was asked to make his Destroyer Costume available (the only in the Netherlands that looks like the original) & assist with the make-up & fotoshoot. The result is an unbelievable realistic photo from Marco Borsato as Gene Simmons. At the end of the year 2011 all photo's will be auctioned and all profits will go to The Children Cancer Free Foundation.
