When I was growing up, Mom was always great about letting me put a Circus magazine (featuring Kiss) in the shopping cart in the 1970s. Dear KISS...Thursday May 5 this year ...my mom gave me a terrible news..."pepe is died in the morning". Jose Muycelo Alvarez was lead vocalist in many bands tribute to KISS here in Mexico city ...was a big fan of kiss while even in death I take it...but above all a wonderful person...he was a friend, a brother, a support, an angel, a teacher and a great example to follow for many people who also love the band(KISS)...and now maybe I understand what you feel when you lost Eric Carr...and if they publish my letter I would like to request a prayer for our friend Jose to all KISS fans in the world. "Pepe thanks for everything and where you're never forget you" P. S. pepe was his nickname ...

Hey KISS, You're amazing. I'm a 13 year old from Ky and Christipher "Critter" Smith is my cousin. You guys helped him so much. Meeting you guys was a dream come true. Critter was an amazing kid, no matter what he had a smile on his face and you helped put it there. You all are his idols and after everything you have done for him you are now mine and my familys idols. One day in my life I will be rockin out, front row at one of your concerts because of everything you have done for him. Not only did you help Critter but you helped us by making him happy. Jose Muycelo Alvarez "Pepe Starchild" 1965-2011 Pepe was born in Mexico City in 1965, he had a almost "normal" childhood with his family, he never studied music, he was his own teacher, but he joined several proyects, most of all Kiss tributes with different bands, Kissmania as Peter Criss and then as Eric Carr, after that Ankh, they didn´t do anything trascendental but there he perfected his techniques as a drummer, and later on he became a proffesional, a couple of years later he played in a tribute band called "Acoustic Kisses" and then "Flaming Kiss", there he came back as a Catman. In 2002 he met Raul Teran, founder of a band called Misterio (Mystery), Raul asked Pepe to record some voices for his project called Luz Negra "Black light", and after that Raul invited Pepe to join as a guest to the last presentation of the band "Karisma", after Karisma falled apart they made the Mysterio (Mystery) reunion now with Pepe as a lead singer for the next 3 years, during those years they recorded 5 records, after that Alejandro Sanchez joined Mysterio (Mystery), then they create the legendary tribute band called Revenge. His last project was called Psycho Kiss with his friends Raul and Alejandro. He also participated into another projects like the Kissvision fanzine Mexico, as a publishing director and colaborated in the dark info about Kiss. His last project was in his internet radio program called Kissteria, he transmited every saturday from 10pm to 12 am. We will always remember you as a good friend but also as a great person, drummer, singer, Kiss fan, etc.

My 12 year old had her "Super Redonkulous Rock-n-Role Mexican Luau" party recently and she and her friends dressed up as Kiss. (She came up with the name of the party and the idea to dress as Kiss. (She is in the red shirt, with her sisters and neighbor.)

Hi kiss im Erick from QUITO, Ecuador and i hope to be in a show of KISS since i was 10 years old. Ecuador really needs you KISS. New age music have almost killed the rock and roll´s but you are the band that make that the rock prevals im sure that if you come to Ecuador, the most biodiversity country in the world, you will be very happy to know our people. I would like to thank you all for the meet and greet,when you came to liverpool arena united kingdom may 2010.there was a bit of a mix up for us to meet you at the proper meet and greet,but you saw us for a few minutes before you were due to go on stage.i was so over the moon when Gene put his arm around me for the photos taken,it was my dream come true for meeting Gene simmons.i really hope you will come back to liverpool arena united kingdom,and i would love to meet and greet you all again since there was a bit of a mix up.we waited 3 hours to see you but nobody came for us.i am disabled and i really suffered badly that night.i am looking forward to see if you come out with a new album then it will go to my collection.hope to see you all again at the liverpool arena united kingdom soon,and love to meet you again.
