KISS Kollection to Launch Navy Strength 57% Gin on Kruise

Following the massive success of the 2021 launch of KISS Cold Gin, Brands For Fans, KISS, and their licensing agent, Epic Rights, have responded to the overwhelming demand for another high-quality product with navy strength gin. As KISS is setting sail with their fans this October, there is no better place to experience this new spirit than on the high seas of the band’s very own KISS Kruise.

The history behind calling a gin navy strength dates back to the 18th century when the British Navy stored their spirits next to gunpowder. Should the gin barrels split, spilling their liquid into the gunpowder, the higher strength content, a minimum of 57% alc/vol, ensured the gunpowder would
still explode.

KISS Cold Gin Navy Strength 57% alc/vol has a five-time distilled base including juniper, lemon peel, and a selection of fine spices. There are no artificial flavors or added sweeteners. To maintain the highest quality, additional flavors of juniper and lemon are macerated and blended with the distillate, achieving a full balance of the botanical experience. This is a superior quality product, expertly created by globally recognized in-house master blender Daniel Henriksson.

KISS Cold Gin Navy Strength doesn't just taste great, it looks incredible too! Impress your friends with this stylish bottle, including eye-catching silver and gold details, with all four band members metallically illustrated on each side of the Brooklyn Bridge. The main label features a gold disc and the iconic landmarks of New York City, including the Manhattan Skyline. The stunning art deco pattern behind the disc is based on the scales of The Demon's boots. This label artwork is a magnificent homage to KISSTORY and the band's musical roots.

“The KISS Spirit’s range, Drink It Up by KISS, has now sold over 250,000 bottles worldwide. We are so excited to launch this fantastic addition to the KISS portfolio and just in time for KISS Kruise,” says Yvonne Wener, head of Brands For Fans.

The product will be available starting August 30, 2022, in the UK, mainland Europe, Sweden, The Nordics, and in US on Kiss Kruise in the end of October.

Review: KISS rock the Entertainment Centre for the final time in smashing send off

Any time KISS come to town it’s a rock’n’roll homage, a fantasy camp, a festival for many of its ecstatic fans. However, when KISS come to town for the final time, there’s a sense of finality to this almost 50-year adventure with its four members, who became superheroes to generations of fans. None more impacted than the KISS ARMY.

Fans have come from all over the country, and the globe, to go on tour with this super group, for this is the final time they will suit up in their iconic makeup and personas for Australian fans.

John Salzone (Sydney) and Chris Pantelis (Coober Pedy) are super fans who have travelled the world to see this band on iconic KISS KRUISES, in European countries, Japan, and KISS’s hometown the USA.

John Salzone “I’ve seen KISS 75 times since 1995, in all parts of the world. Touring with KISS is as much about catching up with the extended KISS Family as it is seeing the band. I’ve made lifelong friends thanks to KISS.”

Chris Pantellis  Coober Pedy – “KISS is a way of life. I’ve seen them over 60 times and it always feels like the first time every time. I have friends forever thanks to KISS.”

For them, like many, this is a sad but celebratory event where many of the Interstate and internationals arrive days early to attend KISS afternoons and end-of-the-road pre-parties.

For me whilst having attended six KISS cruises and over 25 KISS shows, this time it’s special, a little sad, yes however we all savour this moment gathering with friends in adoration of the hottest band in the world.

It’s Tuesday night. That moment arrives, when the lights go down and a deep drone of a C chord vibrates the EnterCent floor as the massive KISS curtain hangs across the stage. And then – “ALRIGHT ADELAIDE YOU WANTED THE BEST YOU GOT THE BEST THE HOTTEST BAND IN THE WORLD KISS.”

KISS’ final tour review – a glorious, absurd triumph from kings of rock’n’roll theatre

By Elmo Keep / www.theguardian.com

Qudos Bank Arena, Sydney
In their final Australian tour, Kiss bring bombast and pyrotechnics to the masses with incredible costumes, fake blood and huge heels

From the moment they first graced a club stage in 1973, envisioning themselves as the star children of Alice Cooper, the Beatles and the New York Dolls, Kiss have introduced themselves as “The Hottest Band In The Woooooorrrrld!” even when no one had ever heard their name. Never has anyone better worn the adage: dress for the job you want, not the one you have.

“You wanted the best, you got the best!” booms a voice over the PA, and over the heads of 20,000 fans gathered at the stadium hosting the Sydney leg of the band’s End of the Road tour – an allegedly final string of shows that began in 2019 before being endlessly interrupted by Covid. Down comes a huge, black Kiss-emblazoned curtain as pyrotechnics erupt, fireballs shoot towards the ceiling and four grown men in shiny black and silver clown costumes stomp out in unison to the opening riff of Detroit Rock City. Paul Stanley wails triumphantly, “I feel alright/On a Saturday night!” and we do too, already beaming at the unfettered rock’n’roll theatre of the absurd that is Kiss. (Detroit Rock City is about a young fan dying in a car wreck in his haste to get to a Kiss concert – which seems a huge bummer of a way to start a show, but as with all things Kiss, you just don’t think too hard about it.)

Few bands have been as critically maligned as Kiss over their career, and no band has single-handedly done more to prove music critics redundant than they have, striding – perhaps a little more slowly than their younger selves – around the stage in front of a packed arena a full 50 years after they formed. They have always viewed critics as losers and critique as pointless. And, they are right: attempting to police what people enjoy is the last bastion of the bitter and defeated, of the self-deluded and the lame. The only thing Kiss cares about (apart from making more money, about which they care most) is their lifelong army of fans: the ever faithful Knights In Satan’s Service. And for them, they will deliver nothing but wall-to-wall hits for two straight hours at a volume beyond deafening.
