LA KISS Arena Football Ticket Refund Instructions

Dear Purchasers of 2017 Season Tickets:

As previously announced, the LA Kiss will not be participating in the 2017 season, and all ticket purchases for the 2017 season are being fully funded.

Credit Card Purchases.  If you used a credit card to purchase your tickets for the 2017 season, then the easiest and quickest way to obtain your refund is to simply inform your credit card company that you dispute the credit card charge for your 2017 tickets.  Within approximately three business days after you inform your credit card company that you dispute the charge, your credit card company will issue you a provisional credit in the amount of your 2017 ticket purchase, and your credit card company will then contact us regarding the dispute.  We will then accept the disputed charge and reimburse your credit card company for the price of your 2017 tickets, in full and final settlement of the disputed charge, and your provisional credit will be fully allowed.  If the credit card with which you purchased your 2017 tickets is no longer active, then you should still follow this procedure, but you should confirm with your credit card company that they have your current address, to enable your credit card company to send you a refund check.

Check Purchases.  If you purchased your tickets for the 2017 season with a check, then please print, complete and mail or email back to us the attached form confirming your name, current address, and the seat numbers of your 2017 tickets, and we will promptly mail you a full refund.  If you misplaced your 2017 tickets and do not remember your seat numbers, then please include a copy of your cancelled check with your refund request. Link to refund request for check purchases: https://gallery.mailchimp.com/469d7d490c48848841bad4965/images/985dbc19-6476-429d-8d10-d7897a632bb5.png

Problems or Questions?  We believe that the process described above will achieve a prompt refund of virtually all of our ticket sales for the 2017 season.  However, we realize that even with the best of intentions, problems sometimes occur.  If you follow this process but do not receive your refund within ten (10) days thereafter, or if you have any questions or concerns regarding these instructions, then please call us at (714)462-5477.  If we do not answer when you call, then please leave your name and a daytime telephone number at which you can be reached, and we will return your call.

Thank You.  We regret that the LA Kiss will not be playing in the 2017 season, and we sincerely apologize for the hassle and delay involved in obtaining your refund.  We are grateful for your understanding and loyal support.  As always, the KISS Army rocks!

Best Regards,

Paul Stanley, Gene Simmons and Doc McGhee

Comic Book Review: KISS #2

By Eric Shirey / www.moviegeekfeed.com

Writer Amy Chu knows how to pen a story that will appeal to several generations by taking influences from a few different decades of science fiction entertainment to create KISS #2. You have the 1970s covered with a dash of "Logan's Run." The 1980s are represented by the presence of what resembles KISS Transformers or Robo-KISS security officers. Add to that the underground city concept from 2003's "The City of Ember" and you have a rather interesting blend of fantasy ingredients to spin a captivating and seemingly timeless tale with. Let's just say this isn't your typical superhero comic book where Starchild, Demon, Spaceman, and Catman swoop down and save the world like we've seen before (at least not yet it isn't). There's way more going on here that will keep readers anticipating what comes next by taking the KISS mythology to a different level.

In the underground city of Blackwell, four children of the future discover four Elders from the past. The Elders, who live on as programs in the computer MORPHEUS, reveal a history they never knew, and deliver a warning-something has gone terribly wrong with their world. And it's up to the four friends to find out what in KISS #2.

While KISS comics in the past have seemed marketed toward mature audiences with scantily clad women and horror elements prevalent, Dynamite's take on the super-group is tamer so far. Aside from the typical KISS fans, it appears targeted to teens and young adults. I can't recall any profanity and there's nothing too frightening or intense for a younger crowd so far.

KISS #2 is available now in print and digital editions.

Neal Adams Unveils Decades-Old, Never-Before-Seen Marvel KISS Art

by  / www.cbr.com

Decades after the iconic rock band KISS last appeared within the pages of a Marvel comic, previously unseen pencil art featuring the group has surfaced, rendered by none other than veteran fan-favorite artist Neal Adams. The 1979 piece was drawn by Adams as part of an intended sequel to Marvels second but ultimately final full-length comic featuring the band, and is the first (and so far, only) known drawing by the legendary artist of the likewise-legendary rock n roll group.

While this is an exciting find for both KISS and comics fans alike, no one is more pleased than KISS co-founder Gene Simmons himself, who is also a longtime devoted comics and Neal Adams fan. Neal Adams art, was on a level most of the other guys could only dream of, Simmons professed in a statement to CBR. From Magnus Robot Fighter, to Green Arrow and the X-Men. Now, a newly discovered, and previously unknown (to me) great piece of art by Neal Adams depicting KISS.

The image appears to have been designed as a wraparound cover, with the words Destroy KISS serving as a possible title for the undeveloped special. Adams image shows a wizard-like character looming large over the band as they perform in concert, but the context behind the drawing might never be known. My mind reels at the missed opportunities of having Neal pencil and ink KISS comics, Simmons added. One can only dream. Adams is currently in possession of the art, which is reportedly available for sale.

Moving from past KISS comics that werent, to those that will be, Simmons also spoke of Dynamite Entertainments upcoming KISS: The Demon series by Amy Chu, Erik Burnham, and Eman Casallos, the first series to spotlight Simmons, or any sole member of the group. The pride I feel in seeing the first issue of The Demon appear equals that sense of wonder I had as a kid, when I picked up my first comic book, Simmons said. The kid in me secretly giggles and delights as I open issue #1 and read the spectacular story and words of Amy Chu.

Both Adams and Chu are appearing at this weekends New Jersey Comic Expo, taking place Nov. 19 and Nov. 20 at the New Jersey Convention and Exposition Center. KISS: The Demon #1 goes on sale Jan. 25.
