Sadly, today is the 17th anniversary of the passing of KISS guitarist Mark St. John. Please take a moment to remember a great friend and an amazing guitarist, who passed away much too young.

On this day in KISSTORY - April 3, 2009 - We opened the South American leg of the Alive 35 Tour in Santiago, Chile. We also rocked Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Peru and Venezuela.

On this day in KISSTORY - April 2, 1978 - We released our first greatest hits album, Double Platinum. The original vinyl release featured a gatefold album jacket, embossed in silver-foiled. Numerous songs on Double Platinum were remixed for the album. Double Platinum was certified Platinum on May 16, 1978 by the RIAA.
