ATL Concert w/ My Daughter

THE TOUR concert is awesome. We saw KISS together in 2004 when they we here. They were great then (no surprise!) but since then, my daughter developed RSD (Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy), my husband became critically ill, lost his job, we lost our house, and in February we lost him. But thru all of it, KISS was always a little way to be happy. Our MP3 players had tons of KISS songs. They provided some fun, escapism, hope and memories of great times. Within a few weeks of his passing, she found out that KISS would be returning to Atlanta. She managed to get the money together, got 2 tickets and gave them to me for Mother's Day. It was an incredibly long and hard wait, but to no surprise, well worth it! Because of her condition, costuming was tough - so we decked out her wheel chair the best we could. The concert topped all I have ever seen. My thanks to an incredible group of Artists, that made her forget all of the pain for a night!

Hiring Our Heroes

Clearly nobody does it better than KISS. The donation of $250k by KISS and Motley Crue to the Hiring Our Heroes Foundation is a tribute to their professionalism and patriotism. I saw KISS at the Indiana State Fair in August 2010 when they added to their donation to the Wounded Warrior Project and the band leading the Pledge of Allegiance. As an Army Retiree, I am pleased to see that bands like KISS and Motley Crue recognize the sacrifices Soldiers and their families make for all Americans. I appreciate that KISS and Motley Crue are dedicated to their profession just as Soldiers are dedicated to their profession. Thank you KISS and Motley Crue for your talent, dedication, professionalism, patriotism, and your untiring support for our military and their families. Thank you and best regards, Robert

:D an astonishing miracle.

So, three days ago my dad brought me in his room and he had a pair of KISS sunglasses in a case and he said, "Jonathan, I am really sorry but we cant make it to KISS.But,I got you some KISS sunglasses." He hands the case to me. By now I am already crying but I didn't want him to see.As I turned around he said, "Will, come here and open them." By the way I really didn't want him to see me cry because he tried really hard and we aren't financially set, even as a 12 year old boy that is something I can understand. As I opened the case underneath the KISS sunglasses there were 2 KISS tickets. Me and my dad burst into tears because this is my one dream come true.My dad kept saying, "I told you I'd do it." So,that is my story I hope you enjoyed. And KISS,I hope your ready to see me on July 25th in Charlotte, NC. I well have a blue Mohawk and we are going to try to get there early because I really really really want to meet you guys.We would've gotten the meet and greet but we didn't have the money. And Gene or Paul or Tommy or Eric if your reading this I really want to meet you so if you see me it would really make my dream complete if you came to me after the show. You probably wont because I didn't buy the meet and greet but I really tried, it just didn't work out. So, if your reading this you would make a child's dream complete by going to meet him please do.
