KISS Navy supports Wounded Warrior Project

What started out as a few of us hanging out by the pool in Miami at the Holiday Inn before KKII, turned into something we never imagined. Shortly after Kiss Kruise II was announced my friend Andy Moyen called and said, Lets stay at the Holiday Inn, it is close to everything and a little less money. We posted on Facebook that we were going to be in Miami a few days early and we invited any Kiss fans to come hang out with us at the Holiday Inn. A few weeks went by and Andy noticed that a lot of people were coming into Miami early. Andy called me and said "Lets have a Living In Sin Party at the Holiday Inn." Andy then was able to get a discounted rate for rooms for the Kruisers coming in early and we sold the place out. Seeing the overwhelming amount of people coming in early, I called Andy and said " Lets take this one step further, lets have a Wounded Warrior Raffle." The work began, emails, texts, phone calls, getting all the donations we could. I contacted Adri Beccera about Andy and I doing our WWP Raffle at the KISS Kruiser party at the Hard Rock Caf in Miami, and she thought that would be great. Andy set up KISS tribute band, Kissforever, to play in Marlboro MA at J.J. Sports Bar and collected donations. We also setup a Paypal account so that we could receive donations. We even put a special Living in Sin Tee shirt on Ebay that we had made. We want to thank: Bruce Kulick, Bill Baker, Lydia Criss, Lisa Jane Perskey, William R. Starky, www.kiss4sale, Kiss mini golf, Feedback Lounge, and the anonymous fans that donated. A special thanks to my wife Denise and Andy's mom Maureen. Without their help and support, we could not have done this. The Living in Sin party, as well as the Party at the Hard Rock were a great success. We had Kiss fans from all over the world, United States, Canada, Germany, Colombia South America, Scotland, England U.K., Norway, Switzerland, Netherlands, Australia, Spain Channel Islands, just to mention of few, buying raffle tickets to support the WWP, and we raised $6026.82!!! Thank you to Daniel Hauser of Greifensee, Zurich for filming us presenting the amount raised to KISS.............. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=WWK9UbKilws The Kiss ArmyNavy has proven that "We are one!"

KISS Tribute

Hello, I am a huge KISS fan since 1974. I put together a KISS Tribute Lip-sync band. We have a great time preforming and the fans love it. This is a picture of us at Arboga School doing a fund raiser. I spit blood a few songs earlier and now I am breathing fire. We opened up for The Chris Gardner Band who is a country western band. Chris loved it and wanted us to open for him more often. He said even though his fans are country fans, EVERYONE love KISS! He is right people where on their feet. Hope you like the picture. Rock On! Birthday

Dear all, My name is Henrique and I am writing from BRASIL. In this weekend I celebrated 28 years old and I had a surprise party promoted by my fiance. As I am fanatic with KISS, she organized a KISS theme party, where everything were related to the Hottest Band in the World. All guests were masked as Gene, the decor was fantastic and the KISS songs rolled all night long It was unforgettable! The photo on the banner that I'm makeup as Gene Simmons was taken in 2009 Concert at Rio de Janeiro. It was the best birthday of my life! If you could publish this photo in the KISS site and Social Media I would be very grateful and happy. Thanks and Rock And Roll All Night and Party Every Day! Henrique

The Magic of Stanley

Paul Stanley has always been a class act. He is a great guitarist and lead vocalist. He ranks right up there with my other four favorites: Freddie Mercury (Queen), Jimi Hendrix (Hendrix Band), Ozzy Osbourne (Black Sabbath), and Steve Perry (Journey). Hit Parader ranked him 18th on their list of Top 100 Metal Vocalists of All Time. Gibson.com Readers Poll also named him 13th on their list of Top 25 Frontmen. But here is something Stanley has that no other lead singer has: Stage presence and a unique connection with the audience. The man loves the fans that he signs to, and they love him right back. I have never seen this with any of the other rock & roll lead singers. Listening to him talking to fans is almost as good as listening to him sing. Stanley gives 100% of himself during a Kiss performance. He has a rigid workout routine to maintain his shape. Charisma, devotion, professionalism, and talent are all words that come to mind. Even if you are not a Kiss fan, you should listen to him live at least once in your life. Once he puts on the face paint and walks into a stage he becomes something very unique to watch and listen to. I think he has only gotten better with age; just like a good wine. Hope to see him again in 2013. Rock on Paul
