ON THIS DAY IN KISSTORY: JANUARY 27, 1985-- CORPUS CHRISTI, TX G

On Sunday, January 27,1985, My father drove me and a group of KISS ARMY Rock Soldiers from the small town of Ingleside, Texas 20 miles across the bay and dropped us off on the Corpus Christi Seawall in front of the Memorial Coliseum early that day to stand in line to see KISS and Queensryche that evening! It was the night we became Queensryche fans, and it was also the night that began my passionate love affair with concert photography when Paul Stanley ran over to far stage right and struck a quick pose for my camera, 37 years later and thousands of photos later, Paul still does what he does best and that's pose(and at times points) at my Ren Adams Cam! After the concert my dad was waiting in his car to take us home and he said while he was waiting across the street, he could feel the pavement vibrate to the powerful drumming of Eric Carr!

Halloween Late 1970’s

This would have been Halloween night somewhere between 1977-1979. We ordered our Kiss Army make-up kit to perform in our garage and it also came in handy for Halloween. Lots of tinfoil!! - Gary Stoll

KISS kids remembering their Grandpa!

With what will be 10 years without my Dad here we are honoring him with my two beautiful kids rocking their KISS shirts for daycare! My 2 1/2 year old son saw KISS in the womb as well as in person this last Summer on their farewell tour. The 8 month old listens to KISS lullabies in the car and maybe, just maybe, she'll get to see them as well someday! - Clinton Perrot

ready for a Halloween radio show 1980

fervent fans we all were. We did the makeup to broadcast a KISS song night on Halloween and answer calls/requests. The radio station was surrounded with fams thinking it was the REAL KISS. The police came to disperse the crowd and radio DJ had to say implicitly were were NOT the real KISS. It was a wild night -Michael Patton
