KISS ALIVE 35 DETROIT ROCK CITY STYLE!!!

I just wanted to let the guy's in KISS to know how much me and my cousin jasen enjoyed their concert at the humble surroundings of "Cobo Hall"! It was truly an awesome expierance to see kiss at cobo for the last and final time!! Cobo Hall (is being either from what I hear) "torn down or turned into more of a convention type setting, as there will be no more arena. Anyways , I will never forget the time that me and my cousin had during the concert! What a thrill it was to sang along with the HOTTEST BAND IN THE LAND!!! to each and every song! We all were treated to hear the band play nearly every song from KISS ALIVE how cool was that! When it was all said and done, I didn't even want to leave the arena, just taking everything all in from what i just witnessed! Kiss will always be in my opinion the best band to ever set foot on this earth!! LONG LIVE KISS!!! Dave from Detroit Rock City!!!

KISS Dream come true

Guys, I've been a major KISS fan since I was a little kid, when my dad bought me Double Platinum. After that, KISS music was part of my life. Now as a 38 year old father, one of my dreams came true, and I got to take my family to a KISS concert. We were center stage, 13th row on the floor in Philly, and my kids loved every second of it. I love this picture because it reminds me of many great KISS album covers. Thanks KISS!!

Thanx to the Band, This was my son's (13) first concert of his life and because of KISS he was able to meet my favorite band since 1978 and realize why I fell in love with them 31 yrs ago. He was blown away bye the whole exsperience with the M&G and the concert,And my wife was STAR STRUCK coming face to face with you,not too mention Gene telling her she was very cute.( NOW SHE LOVES HIM ) she was very impress with your appreciation of your fans and told she understands why you are the greatest band in the world. Its all about the fans and giving all you have. Thank you very much for being here after all these years.

KISS' SONIC BOOM LANDS IN PHILLY!

What a magical night! Here we are, 2009, a new album of Kiss music, a spectacular tour with a new stage production (not since the 1996 Reunion tour has there been such a grand production in my opinion) that blows others away. It had been five years since Kiss had played the Philadelphia/South Jersey metro area and by the attendance at the Wachovia Center, fans have been waiting anxiously and showed up to see the band that does it like no other band can or ever could. Kiss exploded onstage to a deafening roar of the crowd with the opener, "Deuce." Kiss delivered the show of shows as they only know how. The band sounded incredibly tight. The sound system was clean and clear. The effects were amazing! My eyebrows are singed off from the flamethrowers which appeared in different colors from orange to red to a light green which was cool (or hot if you will) as hell. You could feel the heat that these throwers send off. Kiss followed with a collection of songs from the 1975 classic, "KISS ALIVE!" performing "Strutter" to "Parasite" to "She" to "Hotter Than Hell." "Hotter Than Hell" saw Gene breathing fire, a spectacle that never grows tired, and for those seeing it for the first time (as I saw a lot of young fans there in their 20's), a gasp from the crowd followed by a loud cheers. Paul dazzled the crowd with his dancing, running around and vocals of perfection. Paul sounded amazing! Eric's drum solo was a highlight of the evening. Back to using the double-kick bass drum, his solo featured his kit on a turn-table, spinning around to every angle of the arena. But it was not only the visual of Eric's drumming, but his solo itself that was pleasure to the ears. Tommy's solo was a visual as it was pleasing to the ears. The guy has it all. I've come to the conclusion that Tommy is very under underrated as a lead guitarist. Gene spat blood high a top his perch above the audience before launching into "I Love It Loud," a change than he's done before (with a bell toll added to the PA) going skyward. Paul headed out to the audience for "Love Gun" on a turn-table which gave him a chance to see everyone in the back of the hall. And the confetti! I've never seen so much confetti in my life! Tons and tons. How much of that stuff they actually go through in one night? It was quite a night. A night I will not soon forget. The Kiss spectacle had come to Philly, assaulted the crowd with sound and visuals, and onward to the next city. Hopefully, Kiss will return to the City of Brotherly Love again real soon!

Verizon Center DC 2009

Dear KISS, After not seeing you since 1979 and now having a 7 year old daughter, well, it seemed logical to get you another fan. She had a wonderful time albeit that she fell asleep at about 10 PM ( a bit past her bedtime). But she had a wonderful time as did I. I love what the band stands for and the shows are amazing. I see the effort and energy that goes into every performance and I want to thank you. And by the way, during the guitar solo, one of the explosions dropped a structure onto the stage. I would have a chat with your Grip Tech. Thanks again David & Kira. Also who does your lighting and sound support?

KISS in Finnish Top Ten

Having been a Kiss fan since 1984, but always loved the old school Kiss the best, it's hard to find words to describe how happy you've made me (and a whole lotta others here in Finland) with your latest, Sonic Boom! Your new album debuted at number 7 on Finnish Chart this week, beaten only by our always succesful domestic acts and Madonna. Can't wait to see you back in Helsinki, with a whole bunch of your new songs in the show, hopefully! And one more thing - now that you're on a roll of producing such good music (in addition to such joyous tours) with the current lineup, please do not keep us waiting too long for the Sonic Boom follow-up!
