KISS mentioned everywhere

Saw this line in a sports article: Are you listening Ted Roof? Please turn off the latest KISS CD, "Sonic Boom" (available exclusively at Wal Mart) that's rocking in your headset, and pay attention. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/272615-auburn-vs-kentucky-why-the-tigers-will-claw-the-cats/page/2

Concert CD's

I just received my concert CD and USB key from the October 1st Montreal show. It's AMAZING. Best idea ever. Next time, make concert DVD's of every show. That would kick ass and is easy to do since you film every show. Thanks for a good time.

Tommy Bashing

Just need to sound off a bit about the negative BS floating around about Tommy. First off, anybody that has seen KISS V2.0 knows what Tommy and Eric bring to show. They are not only key to the new lineup - which has never sounded better. They are both a huge reason - if not the reason for the band's continued ALIVE 35 success and the "Sonic Boom" heard around the world. Been a KISS fan since the mid-70's and would never take anything away from the "Originals", or any line-up of the band. Don't know why the haters seem to be out there, or why they feel the need to take out their "Ace" frustrations out on Tommy. Recently read articles about Tommy essentially being a clone for his work on "Sonic Boom", and his rendition of the KISS klassic (not Ace classic) "Shock Me". Have these hypocrites recently seen Ace on tour? Ace's setlist consists of many KISS klassics not even sung by Ace himself. Was I bent out of shape listening to Ace play guitar while his band sang "Love Gun" or "I Want You"? No, of course not - I was there and paid to see them, not KISS! Is it proper to call Ace's band "KISS Klones", or a tribute band? Tommy has been and will continue to be the "Space Man" and folks need to get with the program. If you don't care for this line-up - it's simple, don't listen to them - It's your loss. Rock-on Tommy, the "True" KISS Army is with you! See you in Minneapolis.

My Dad

I'm 27, and I learned to love KISS from my Dad. He's a huge fan. In the late 70s, early 80s he was a bouncer at the Canton Civic Center and was fascinated by KISS live. I was born in the early 80s and the earliest music I remember was KISS. I still am a huge fan. I went to the "farewell tour" in 2000. i saw the concert in Syracuse, NY. My friend almost spilt beer on Gene Simmons. He didnt even know who he was... Such a KISS virgin. I tried to train him for weeks, but he took me because he knwe how excited I was. Sorry, I'm rambling. I just wanna say, I hope to take my daddy to see KISS in PA. I just hope we can see you there... Adding an extra date in Ohio would be well received. Thank you so much if you even get a chance to read this. Darcy

Thank you

I just wanted to say thank you to Paul,Gene,Eric, and Tommy for being the greatest band of all....I have idolized KISS since I was about 6 or 7 years old. They have stood the test of time. I remember my dad showing me a picture of Gene spitting out blood and going "WOW!" That one picture changed my musical influence in a heartbeat. I was obsessed! I was Gene for Halloween, I drew pictures of them, and all I listened to was KISS. Thanks to KISS, my music has flourished and I play guitar better than I used to. My musical influences have broadened because listening to KISS opened me up to other doors such as Metallica. Perhaps my most prized musical possession(next to my guitar)...an autographed picture from Paul Stanley that a friend of my mom's (a radio dj in LA)got Paul to sign for me "To David, Keep Rockin' ". I had the greatest time seeing KISS play at Bluesfest in Ottawa this summer (I was front row of the 50000 people!) It was my first time seeing KISS, but certainly not my last. The new album is amazing and its been cranked in my room and blasting on my IPOD for a while now. THANK YOU KISS! You are such inspirations...I am forever a fan!!!!!
