First Show In Tampa

I'm only 14 and have been a KISS fan for 6 years. But sadly I haven't been able to go to a KISS concert during those 6 years. But last night I saw my first ever Kiss concert in Tampa! I was a little worried at first because I didn't see any kids there except very young kids. I bought almost every single item at the tour store. I bought Eric Singer drum sticks and Tommy Thayer strings and picks (because I like to play along to a lot of the classic Kiss songs), a hoodie, 3 shirts, a wrist band, and the the whole concert on a usb wristband. But I wanted most was a autograph, which I knew I wouldn't get because of the modern music age. But what I did get was a guitar pick that Gene practiced with! I almost passed out! After I had my "WOW" moment we listened to Buckcherry and then ending up buying both of their albums there. Then the greatest moment finally came! Kiss was about to play! When the announcer started the awesome call "You wanted the best, you got the best! The hottest band in the world! Kiss!" I was cheering and yelling to it and fell out of my seat because of the rockets... They sound a lot louder in concert! The band was loud and proud and rocking out to the classics (best) from the 70's. Honestly my favorite was Black Diamond, when Paul started playing Stairway To Heaven. But all and all it was an amazing experience and I hope you guys come back to Florida! Keep rocking!

KISSoween 09

Just wanted to share a picture from our annual KISSoween party. We're not character correct when it comes to instruments, but we have fun with it!

Tour

Hey Guys, Everything I'm hearing about the tour are all great comments. All the reviews about Sonic Boom are Great. I think it's the best complete work the band has done to date.Which leads me say. Why not more new songs on the tour. I understand the alive 35 theme. But there is no better way to celibrate the Klassics, Without showing that the new songs are soon to be Klassics. Any 4 or 5 songs will be great. You choose. They are all great songs. See you in Nashville

B'ham Concert

Birmingham , AL on 24th I'm taking my 2 kids and my wife to see, in my mind, the Greatest Rock Band ever, for their first KISS experience. This will be my 5th time. I can't wait to see my kids faces when you take the stage. Paul, you have teased with, "Stairway to Heaven", maybe you could tease with "Sweet Home Alabama" on Saturday night.

In memory of

(I just uploaded a "video" of this song"in the KISS Kommunity section) In memory of When my wife's sister, Jean, was two-years-old she was given less than six months to live. She passed away six years ago last weekend at the age of 42! Though she never developed mentally past the level of an infant she still managed to change a lot of people's lives. My wife and I and our 11 year-old son, Adam, travelled to Atlanta for the funeral but my wife had to stay there for a few days so Adam and I came home alone. We were both still very upset so I told him we would do anything he wanted for the weekend - camping, etc. He said, "I want to record a KISS song" (I have a home studio). He picked "Detroit Rock City" - he laid down the drums and lead vocal (I played the guitars). Amazing that he was 11 years old when he did this! You hear stories all the time about KISS music "getting people through" - I got to experience it first hand. Adam is now 17 and we'll be third row next week in Nashville! Aaron

Tampa Show

Saw KISS last night for the first time in 30 years. KISS was my first concert ever in '77 (when the capes were part of the costume) and now full circle I saw KISS last night. What can I say - GREAT show. Sound was excellent. I went with a KISS guru that indicated there was more pyro & bombs than he can ever remember. If I had the money, I would follow KISS for the remainnder of the tour. THANKS again.

KISS in Tampa

YOU GUYS WERE AWESOME IN TAMPA! PLEASE COME BACK! If i had the money, I would of got the meet and greet package to meet Gene Simmons my favorite! I was on the second floor and I flashed him the rock n roll sign and waved at teh same time, he waved, and I could of swore he was doing it in my direction!!!!!!!!! I love Gene because he is really cool in real life! He's not like one of those rockstars that party all the time and they are bad influences! Thats another reason why I love him, he doesn't! I have glasses unfortunatley, but I have a pretty long tongue for being 11 years old!!!!! It was funny when my mom said me and you have a resemblance then my sis said it was scary how much we are lol! I LOVE FAMILY JEWELS! My favorite parts of the show was Spacemans guitar solo and when he shown it to the stage lights and they crashed! (i got it on my disposable camera), The catmans' drum solo, Starchilds coming out to the audience, and Demons blood spitting, flying, and tongue! Man I hope one day I could meet you Gene, or at least talk to you online or something!!!!!! I love you!!! P.s. It wont let me put teh pic on of me with makeup on and tongue sticking out like you!
