donation

Dear KISS ive been seeing a lot of postings on your site here lately about donations. on January 16th 2010, my cousin, kyle fry, was murdered at the young age of 20 years old. my aunt is having a real hard time with the funeral bill. We are putting together a benefit dinner and auction to be held on April 17th, 2010 in wellston, ohio. ALL proceeds from this benefit will go directly towards kyles funeral expenses. ive been a diehard kiss fan since 1988.(im 27) and i know how we, the kiss army, can pull together in desperate times of need. my family has always helped people and never asked for a thing.now we really need help. if you could donate some kind of kiss item (or items) for the auction it would really help alot. if there is anything at all you can do to help out it will very much apperciated. i understand the amount of emails you guys get on a daily basis and the odds of this reaching you are probably slim but i wanted to try at least.if you cannot make a donation could you please post this on your site and spread the word? any help at all, is needed. thank you KISS and KISSARMY, Gary Fisher 217 West 13th street Wellston, Ohio, 45692 phone: (749)-384-0998 (ask for amber) email: [email protected] email: [email protected]

New KISS Pinball Machine

To Gene & Paul....I have been a fan since 1975 when I was 10 years old. I own the 1978 Kiss Pinball machine and would be absolutely THRILLED if you can cut a deal with a Major supplier such as Stern or Williams to create a brand new state of the art Pinball Machine.....With today's technology and the awesome KISS artwork and history what a GREAT PINBALL MACHINE could be made. I keep dreaming that it's going to happen and I would love to add it to my Pinball/KISS collection. Thanks for a GREAT SONIC BOOM concert in Vancouver as well...Brian Formosa. PS: Happy 60th Gene.

We Love Gene Simmons 40th birthday surprise

Dear Gene, My son thinks your great and loves your entire band. The pic I sent was of him last year on his birthday. He got one of your dolls, its still in the box. I believe his 20 yr. old daughter bought it for him. On May 13th my son will turn 40 and I wanted to get tickets to your concert in Cleveland, Ohio in September for him and his wife. I need to get them before his birthday in May and I fear they will not be on sale soon enough. I really wanted to do something special for him. If there is any way you can help me with this very COOL surprise I would appreciate it. I can't afford the meet & greet but I am willing to pay for tickets. By the way, my son and I both watch your tv show. We love it!! Love your Mom too! Thanks, Georgie (make a poor Jewish Mom happy please)

My KISS Story

Dear KISS, It seems to me that for my entire 12 years of living, you have always been there. For as long as I can remember I have known the lyrics to Shout It Out Loud. Maybe it was because of my mom who really knows her classic rock. She was into Van Halen (Roth era), Led Zepplin, Bad Company and KISS. She went to see you on the Animalized tour and still has the book which is totally awesome. So it is from her where I get my musical influence. I seem to be the only kid in my grade who wears KISS t-shirts, once had a KISS toothbrush, has all four KISS mm's, is a member of the KISS ARMY, and has ever heard good music. These kids that listen to rap at my school have no idea what music is. Music in my terms is something that you can understand and appreciate all the talent that goes into it. I'm not saying that rap singers are not talented, it's just that what they do isn't music. So anyway, I find it difficult to convince my friends that just because on the outside KISS is dark (and in my friends opinions gothic) but on the inside their music is amazing. So on the last day of the semester we were talking about KISS and my friend asked the teacher if she was ever into KISS (my friend thinks I'm the only person to ever listen to KISS) and surprisingly enough she was. Or for my spanish class we had to write a paragraph about our favorite celebrity, and of course I chose none other than Paul Stanley. Of course my spanish teacher asked me if that was the guy from KISS, and I said yes. Well then she started talking about how she snuck out to see you in concert when she was a kid. It is really weird to think about your teachers of having lives, let alone having live that involve KISS. I can always tell the difference between Paul and Gene when singing, but when I first listened to All For the Glory I was stumped I concluded that it is Eric Singer and I believe that I am correct. I feel that there is no band other than you guys that could be a greater roll model for kids. You don't do drugs, drink uncontrollably and you set a pretty good example, unlike today's stars that are always getting arrested. And so that leaves me with nothing more to say except to PLEASE sing Shout It Out Loud in Minot for me in July. See you there!!!!! Your biggest 12 year old fan, Nick H.
