LAIM IN NEWSCASTLE

Hi KISS, Here's a pic of our son Liam after the Newcastle KISS gig waiting to meet you backstage and sign his cast. Liam was diagnosed with a rare form of children's cancer at Xmas being aged only 11. Cancer affects 1 in every 4 people, a shocking statistic which we've unfortunately seen first hand and devastates families. It affects both young & old and makes no distinction between colour or creed. Advances in modern medicine are now combating this dreadful illness to great affect but that takes a lot of fundraising and publicity. Thanks Gene for taking a lead and backing such a worthy cause. From watching your Family Jewels programme I know you are very proactive in supporting charitable causes and that your family was also recently touched by the scourge of cancer, so you can appreciate what other families must be going through. I hope Shannon is on the road to a full recovery as it appears our Liam is also. He's only about half way through his treatment but the doctor's have been really impressed with his recovery. I ask all your fans out there reading this letter to back your sterling campaign. Liam's even donated some money himself as he really appreciates everything that has been done for him. Please also give generously. Together we can make a real difference to the lives of children and families going through this terrible illness. Harper Family x

UK Tour

The first time I saw Kiss was on September the 5th 1980. I can honestly say that they get better ever time I see them. I went to the gig at the Liverpool Echo arena and got right at the front, Kiss were amazing. Then less than one week later I went to the Manchester MEN arena and without a doubt it was even better, the shows just get bigger and more intense. In all the years I have been a fan I have never seen so many fans in facepaint and so many young fans. All I can say is thank you to Kiss for coming to the UK again and making me the happiest man in Manchester. Hope to see you again soon

KISS are the kings of rock and roll

The KISS show in Glasgow was the first time I've seen KISS live having been a fan for most of my life. The highlight of the show for me was Tommy singing Shock Me and his solo after. He is a valued member of the band despite many people out there saying he cannot replace Ace Frehley. His guitar work is fantastic. KISS rock!

Color Study Project Incorporating KISS

Dear KISS, For an Architecture project at my college, the class was told to pick something that meant a lot to us and use coloring techniques we learned to represent it. I chose to recreate the Rock And Roll Over album cover since Calling Dr. Love was the first song I ever learned to play on my bass guitar. I made a little mistake in the positioning of the lettering but it still came out pretty well. Hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed drawing it. -Colin
