Re: Rock And Roll Hall of Shame

Gene, our family has just read the news about the candidates for the Rock and Rock Hall of Fame. We are disgusted and confused about how they nominate these candidates that are RAP artists instead of Rock and Roll artists like the title says. We have a suggestion for you and hope you will consider it. We are wondering if you and the members of KISS will start their own Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, but of course, not use that title, think of another title. If you do go with this idea, which we hope you do, PLEASE only nominate ROCK AND ROLL artists -- thats where music originated from, like you Gene! We will be waiting anxiously for your comments and hope it will be good news for everyone that loves ROCK AND ROLL!! Just think of these young kids in their up and coming bands, what kind of message this is giving them. Thank you for your time. [email protected]

epicenter

kiss, thank you for a great concert. I last saw you in devore in 2000 on the farewell tour. however, i saw my first kiss concert with my mom back in 1979! i was only 2 years old! the tickets to the epicenter show was my birthday present from one of my closest friends. and my birthday was july 2nd! i was only about 30 feet from the stage right at the center barricade.....i even heard myself shouting "say yeah" on my instant live purchase! i shook hands and exchanged pleasantries with shannon and sophie, during "iwas made....." and they were very nice people. hey guys, how about letting eric take a shot at doing "all for the glory" live. that song kicks ass! i dig the new album, and i certainly hope there is more to come. i've got the entire kiss catalog, and most of it is still on vinyl. i look forward to seeing you guys again in the future. thanks for a great night, despite all the heat of the day in fontana, ca....... KISS Birthday Cake and Cofetti Ice Cream

I wanted to share a picture of my Birthday Cake that my son and his wife made me for my 45th b-day. We had Confetti Ice Cream too. The party rocked! My wife and daughter in-law both wore KISS shirts and my gifts were mostly KISS themed too. I will never be to old for a KISS Birthday Party!

Daughters 1st Concert

My daughter Savannah has grown up watching KISS videos and singing your songs all the time and she finally got to go with her dad to her 1st concert. She made it through all the opening acts of the Rock-n-Park festival and when you hit the stage and everybody stood up, she was right there standing on the chairs clapping and screaming through the entire concert. Thank you for all of your music through my entire life and now as you continue to provide for the next generation of The KISS ARMY.

You guys are now screwed ;)

Well, guys. . .now you've done it. You recorded a great album and went on tour. To top it off, you let our children in for free. You have now taken myself who has been a fan for 30 years and attending your shows for 20 years, and gave me an opportunity to take my 10-year-old son to a show. Now he can't hide the same look in his eyes that I had when I was his age. You have created one more die-hard fan for life and I can only assume that you have done the same for millions of longtime fans across the world. Therefore, you have, to the delight of fans like myself and my son, squandered any chance for you to retire. You will simply have no choice but to play shows forever. My son and others like him will now be expecting to be able to attend lots more shows in the future and possibly take his own kids to see you. Well, maybe not for that long, but you can't retire until my son has had the chance to see you at least 10 more times or so. :) I have seen KISS live several times in and out of makeup with 8 different members throughout my life. However, one thing has always remained constant: your never-ending commitment to the fans and the greatest rock show that can ever be put together. Thank you for all of the memories and the chance to keep reliving them through current tours, not to mention the chance to pass on these good times to my kids. With all of the negative things that kids can be into these days, you guys give them a great show and something positive to look up to. If there was a top 10 list of people that kids could look up to, KISS would be on that list after all of the medical professionals, police, and firefighters that save lives every day and the heroes that are fighting for country overseas. You have always been about dreaming big and achieving success by being committed to what you do. Our kids can learn a lot from that. Thank you, guys. I hope that one day I can thank you in person. Flaming Youth for 30 years, Nate
