From two vet's

To Gene Simmons After i watched the episode (Uncle Gene Wants You) and seeing how effected you were by the plight of hospitalized veterans, i wanted to send you this email and to tell you that i very much appreciate that you took the time with your daughter to brighten some veterans day. Being a disabled veteran myself i really wanted to thank you for your concern for all veterans everywhere. So for myself and my son (who is overseas now), we wholeheartedly wanted to thank you and your family. My Best Paul Willis

calling on the army

Dear Kiss, I have been a fan since 1977, I have seen you 15 times over the years and met you twice. The reason for this letter is not for me but for a dear close friend of my famly. Her name is Della Gardner and she has been diagnosed with breast cancer, that is severe enough to cause her to have a double masectomy, now Gene I know the fear that set in with you when you thought Shannon had breast cancer, imagine whet you would go through if it was true, now imagine if you had no money or insurance to pay for it or fight it. I am not asking for money from you or your family, I know that both Shannon and Sophie do volunteer work for the fight against cancer so what I am asking is some information of organizations to help her, she contacted the cancer society and they offered her a wig whoooppeeee, we have done a fundraiser for her but in a town of 200 people you can guess how much help she has had. Also there is a account open for her at a local bank it is : The First National bank of Ely C/o Della Gardner cancer fund 595 Aultman Street Ely, Nevada 89301 The phone number is 1-775-289-4441 It would be nice if we could rally the KISS ARMY to help her, she and her husband live in Lund Nevada which is just south of Ely, which is 250 Miles North of Las Vegas, her husband runs the Gardner garage in lund and is an excellent mechanic but doesn't get a lot of business because of the size of the town. I believe she is going to a doctor in Las Vegas or in St. George Utah which is almost 200 miles away as well. I believe if you posted this letter on your website that the ARMY could help her, even if they only gave 1.00 each, see what you think let me know at my e-mail of [email protected], or even call me at 1-775-296-0058, I know you probably get stuff like this all the time I'm just hoping that with as caring as you ALL are for your fans that you might consider it. Thank you four your time, Craig McKnight

Missed concert because of accident!!! :o(

Best concert I never got to see. My wife and I along with friends came to Atlanta on 8/31 for the concert but thanks to my bad luck I broke my left foot and right leg about an hour before the show at the hotel and we spent most of the night in the ER and missed the show. Friends said the show was great....maybe some day I will get to find out first hand. Had great seats to right in front of stage....at least they brought us a t-shirt but just not the same. :o(
