potato heads

Here is a photo of my new Halloween decoration! I got the potato head set last Summer and wanted to create a concert stage for them! I used a lot of random stuff - including computer box styrofoam, Christmas lights, tambourine parts for cymbals, and Q-tips for microphones. I got more inspired after seeing KISS in Charlotte in August. I took my six year old for his first rock concert - my first was KISS in Greensboro in 1979 - how cool is that?! Love you guys - thanks for all the great years!!

KISS pinball machine

That episode of PAWN STARS is actually an older one. I too thought it was cool and couldn't help but drool. I also thought it was cool the guy got top dollar out of the pawn shop. There is also an episode of CLEAN HOUSE where one of the items sold at the yard sale is a 24" PAUL STANLEY DESTROYER DOLL!...yeah I wept that time too.

My son as Paul

Hey Guys, I have been a fan since 1975 and have been to 14 KISS shows over the years. This past summer I had the pleasure of a rite of passage and took my son, Nathan to his first KISS show, here in Raleigh, NC. (August 29) To say the least he was blown away!!! For Halloween he wanted to be made up as his favorite KISS member! Here is a picture of him made up as Paul, wearing his favorite KISS shirt! Thank you to KISS for the opportunity to get this "bonding" chance with my son. We both had the time of our lives at the show! You guys are forever a part of my life and proud to say a part of my son's life that he will never forget! Truly, Henry Wake Forest, NC

Dear KISS- I had the best Halloween costume ever this year! I was Gene Simmons and my costume was awesome! A lot of people had me sing them a song in order to get the candy!

Mini stage

Been a fan since '76, just thought I'd share the miniature KISS stage my 10-yr old son and I recently finished putting together in our basement. It measures roughly 4 feet x 4 feet and uses among other goodies, various McFarlane action figures and accessories. Still trying to figure out a way of incorporating some sort of hydraulic platform into the mix but this has been a great project so far and we're having a blast doing it (even if my wife thinks I'm crazy). For those interested in seeing it in action (nothing fancy, just a quick little thing I shot on my old Kodak digital camera and quickly threw together in QuickTime), l've posted it on YouTube, here's the link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bxLw68r-mzk
