Success at WalkNRock

I'm pleased to let you know I raised $1630 for the WalkNRock fundraiser, with the proceeds going to the River Cats Foundation for Kids. When I heard KISS was the sponsor, I got everyone to pitch it. I really enjoyed the concert. My two new KISS army friends I met at the show were a bit upset about the seating. We paid alot of money for seats, but ended up very far away from the stage because of the tables for the top sponsors. Katie and Arlene are two of your biggest fans, and go to so many shows. If you could offer them two tickets to a future show, i would be greatful. They are very sweet, and represent the good nature of KISS fans around the world. Thank you for the consideration. Bernard Gutnick Kiss fan for 36 years.

Thank you for a great show!

I just wanted to thank you for a great show last night in Sacramento. Thank you, also, for mentioning Hope Production often. It is a great charity and you made it a point to campaign for the kids we serve. Finally, thank you for kicking ass! That was one of the most fun shows I have ever been to. May I ask a favor? My son is a fan of the band and really wanted to attend the concert, but because I was working the show, he was unable. Is it possible to get a signed picture, or autographs, for him. If possible, please let me know how to go about it. Again, thank you for a great show and helping us support a very worthy cause in Sacramento! Peace, Joe Poggi

Thank you for Using My Photo on your Site!

A fellow former Marine emailed me this morning and told me to check out your facebook page, he said he thought you had used my photo on your page. And yes, you did. I want to say thank you for doing that. It is even more special than you can imagine. I took that photo when I was deployed to the Iraq invasion in 2003. I was a Combat Correspondent for the USMC. The Marine you see saluting the flag in that photo is actually my husband, MSgt. James Valrie. I flew into a forward operating base where his unit was in Jalibah, Iraq, and they were doing evening colors and I snapped that photo of him. James and I were married two days before our deployment to Iraq, so in a sense, our tour in Iraq was our honeymoon. James always used to say, he gave me plenty of sun and sand for a honeymoon! James retired after 21 years of service to the USMC in 2004. I lost James to cancer June 12, 2009. So you can see, there is great meaning behind this photo. Thank you so much for your continued support of the service members and veterans. Thank you so much for your honor today, it has made my Memorial Day remembrance of James even that more special. And my kids as well, the first concert I ever took my kids to was your concert at the Irvine CA amphitheater in 2000, when I first got stationed at MCAS Miramar (where James and I met). Thanks again.
