Paul Stanley to honor veterans at Vacaville Rock & Brews
VACAVILLE — KISS front man Paul Stanley will honor about 200 local veterans and active military Tuesday at Rock & Brews, 200 Nut Tree Parkway.
It is an invitation-only event.
The rock-inspired restaurant recently opened in Vacaville, the first of the chain to call Northern California home. The concept is designed to engage people of all ages with entertainment, comfort food, local favorites and a selection of craft and international beers.
A “Great Wall of Rock” features iconic rock art, concert trusses and lighting, and multiple flat screens sharing some of the greatest rock concert moments of all time.
Attending the event will be Vacaville Mayor Len Augustine; Julie De Maria, president of Operation: Care and Comfort; as well as the Rock & Brews co-partners, president, Vacaville franchisee and Vacaville general manager.
Stanley is scheduled for pre-event media interviews from 7 to 10 a.m. A ribbon-cutting follows at noon with a private luncheon for veterans. A check will be presented to Operation: Care and Comfort.
Founded in 2003 in the San Francisco Bay Area, Operation: Care and Comfort supports the military, veterans and their families through care packages, tickets for troops and adopting a military family.
