To welcome entertainment legend KISS to the Hard Rock Hotel, the casino-resorts overall atmosphere is being revamped in true rock-star style with special menus, drinks, spa treatments and even an official pop-up store.
KISS hits are being used as the titles of menu items: At 35 Steaks + Martinis, theres Smoke, a cold smoked Scottish salmon, and Sweet Pain, a sinfully indulgent dessert.
The 24-hour hotspot Mr. Luckys Cafe pulls out the big guns with its menu featuring Love Gun, a foot-long hot dog topped with pulled pork, melted cheese and BBQ sauce and served with French fries; and Lick It Up, a dessert with house waffle cone with chocolate rim, strawberry-chocolate jelly roll, candied almond rocky road ice cream, warm fudge sauce, chocolate pop rocks and commemorative Hard Rock Hotel drumsticks.
At Pink Taco, patrons can reminisce on iconic KISS hits Hotter Than Hot, a queso flameado con lobster and flour tortilla combination; All Hells Breakin Loose, grilled shrimp with peppers; and Heavens On Fire, a sugar flaming plantain tostada with waffle crisps and a scoop of caramel swirl ice cream.
Drinks include Rock n Roll All Nite, Detroit Rock City, Love Gun, Animalize, Dynasty, KISS Gold, Psycho Circus, Sonic Boom, True Confessions and War Machine.
In Reliquary Water Sanctuary & Spa, rockers can be revived with the God of Thunder 50-minute treatment body scrub and the Deuce 50-minute, head-to-toe Swedish massage and facial.
Designer John Varvatos is getting in the KISS mood unveiling KISS-inspired wardrobe pieces and groupie garb of shirts and vintage sweaters accented by silver horns and claw buttons.
An official KISS pop-up souvenir store, the B Side, will offer fan gear, pro photos and an art gallery. Hotel guests get a shot to win the bands Authentic Anvil Road case, which will be on display during their run.
Singer and guitarist Paul Stanley is confirmed to conduct three book signings, open to the public, on Nov. 8, 15 and 22. Our exclusive Q+A with the legend was posted Wednesday night.
