Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley of KISS were both in Albuquerque on Tuesday to help open their newest Rock & Brews location on Montgomery near San Mateo.

The pair mingled with patrons and dignitaries and were proud to visit.

�I�ve been coming here for decades, so the attitude that only big cities should have great, cool places to go to is a fallacy,� said Stanley. Nobody chooses where they�re born and every city is a great city. It�s what you make it.�

Part of the grand opening included an event to raise money for New Mexico veterans.
