John and Lily fell in love with Kiss after being introduced by their dad to the original Scooby Doo meets Kiss one Halloween. After that they were hooked and became obsessed with EVERYTHING related to Kiss. So one summer we took them on an adventure across Washington to see Kiss! It was their first big concert and they were so excited, so of course the whole family dressed up. We were so fortunate to be close enough to the stage that each kiddo ended up with a wave from Starchild and Spaceman, they each ended up with guitar picks, and at the end during the encore they ended up on the screen behind the band. Lily fell asleep with her Starchild pick in hand and John said it was the best night of his life. - RaeJean Cohn
