Saranac Lake, NY rockers, Sonic Boom, once again held their annual Kissmas Toy and Food Drive. Being their 5th Kissmas event, they dubbed it Kissmas V Alive and performed the entire Alive album from 1975. Each year the band collects toys and food as a cover charge and they are donated to those in need. Cash proceeds netted over $1,300 which has been donated to a local man with cancer, undergoing chemotherapy. Earlier this year, they performed a free show for a local combat veteran's group. Sonic Boom does all the fund raising and legwork involved and they perform free of charge. Kiss is a huge inspiration to this band and has been for many years. Francis Whitelaw
