"Oh, you'll grow out of it....." - how many times have we all heard that?? I certainly hope I never grow out of it because KISS and rock and roll has kept me young!! KISS has brought so much fun and friendship to my life. I even taught myself bass so I could be Gene in the first ever all-female tribute band Black Diamond which I played in from 2004-2010. I was also on the VH1 "KISS:Fanclub" show in 2000 as a featured fan. I still play bass in 2 bands - "Iron Mullet" (Iron Maiden/Dio tribute) and "Dream Police" (Cheap Trick tribute). But I still dress as Gene any opportunity I get - expos, Halloween, conventions. I even took "liberties" on my new costume - I felt my alter ego the "Goddess of Thunder" deserved her own look.
