My family and I survived one of the most destructive tornados in US history. On 5-22-11, just arriving home from my son's high school graduation, an EF-5 Tornado ripped our neighborhood apart. My family made it to the front porch and I rode it out in our family van. But we made it. When we started looking for anything we could save, there it was. My Axe Bass made it. Finding it was icing on the cake. Joplin, MO will be scared for life, but it is things like this, that give you hope to move forward. It will be OK. The Joplin, MO people are the best in the world. We may have lost just about everything, but we still have each other. God Bless!
