KISS Jersey Shore Wax Museum

Posted on 02/16/2011
Long before Snookie and the gang from Jersey Shore took over Seaside Heights, KISS was there. I took these pictures in 1979 at the Wax Museum on the boardwalk in Seaside Heights. One picture is of a huge wall painting on the building outside, one is of a painting in the hallway leading in to the museum and the other three are of the KISS wax figures. I remember complaining because the Ace Frehley, Paul Stanley and Peter Criss figures were in their 1976 Destroyer costumes and the Gene Simmons figure was still in his 1975 KISS Alive costume. I had just seen KISS at Madison Square Garden and was hoping for the new Dynasty costumes. KISS is everywhere, Nick The Quig Clemente
