My 5 year old son Tyler wanted to be Gene this halloween. He had a great time. He was singing Doctor Love the whole time I was applying the makeup to his face. It was special to me and my wife Vicki for many reasons. Ty has autism and is advancing in his progress to "jump through that window" so to speak. Ty has great days and not so great days with his autism. When certain things that he likes grab his attention (like KISS), everything just kinda falls into place for him, His focus, his speech.communication,etc. It was a great Halloween! It's funny, I have been a huge fan since I was a little boy in the '70's and I introduced KISS to Ty, but I never forced it on him. He took it all in on his own. He will not go to sleep at night without a KISS cd playing in his room to fall asleep too. The music is a comfort to him. Here is a picture of the Demon getting set to go trick or treating.
