Now that I live and work in Canada I get to see KISS when they tour North America, last year I saw them three times, Montreal, Toronto and Oshawa. Being a KISS ARMY member I was able to buy pre-sale tickets to get close to the front of the stage on each occaison. Now a few months later and Sonic Boom Over Europe is in full swing I had to take the opportunity to return to my native UK to catch the band playing on my home turf. I aquired floor tickets for both Birmingham and Manchester gigs. My children (20 and 24!) accompanied me on the first show and thoroughly enjoyed it and a good friend came with me to the Manchester gig, all of which had never seen KISS before. For me I'm heading for around 20 gigs since 1980 and I'm sure that when the Boom clears over Europe that sometime they will come back to North America and I'll be there for the Canadian leg of the tour - Oshawa is expecting you back! To all the fans that want Ace and Peter back in the line-up, you missed that gig, 1996-2000. Time to move on and embrace the current line-up which will hopefully find the time to write another album together before finally hanging up the platform boots - you know, when Gene is blowing out his 90th Birthday candles!!
