Letters

Dear KISSonline, I have been a KISS fan since the age of 5 in 1975. My brother & I pooled our allowance money & bought the "Alive!" album & my life was changed forever. In 2005, I finally met the right woman for me that shared my passion for music & understood my lifelong relationship (obsession) with KISS. We were married in 2007 by Elvis, in Las Vegas. In 2009, with the birth of our first child coming in August, we wanted to celebrate the birth in a way that reflected us. We chose not to know the sex of our baby before birth & did NOT want a typical baby shower where guys aren't welcome & the women "ooh" & "ah" over all the gifts. We decided to hold a 'Welcome Baby Celebration' complete with good food & music. My wife found a baby cake pan & set out to create the perfect cakes to celebrate our firstborn. Since we needed to represent both a boy & girl, two cakes were necessary. The submitted picture is her resulting creation. Awesome indeed, if you ask me. By the way, my son Gunnar Logan was born on August 19th. He already enjoys spending time watching KISSology with his dad. Thanks for doing what you do.
