Letters

Dear KISS! My name is Rolly DeVore, and I�m a musician from Orange County. When I�m not playing around Southern California, I work as Larry David�s stand-in, on the HBO show �Curb Your Enthusiasm.� I�ve been a �KISS Army� member for most of my life. My girlfriend (and fellow musician) Kerry Getz is a huge fan of the movie, �The Wizard of Oz,� and more specifically, Margaret Hamilton�s �Wicked Witch of the West� character. This year on Halloween, we decided to have our own sort of �Paul Lynde Halloween Special.� I dressed up as Gene, Kerry dressed up as the Wicked Witch of the West, and we handed out candy to all the �Trick or Treaters� in Newport Beach, California. Little did I know how much commotion dressing as Gene would cause! I can�t even begin to count the number of photos I was asked to take with children, parents, and passersby. At one point, I had a line of people waiting to take pictures with me on Balboa Island!
