3 generationsand a healthy start

It had only been a few months since my wife and i saw KISS at rama. That being her first KIss concert and my tenth. At first she did not really want to go as she said she had heard enoungh of them during our 19 year relationship but as the time came closer she begann to get more and more excited. On the hour and a half drive to rama i began to explain to her what to expect. This was not like anything we had ever been to together. A KISS concert is like a family get together, a time to talk to others about past shows and their KISS highlights, who is their favorite etcetc and to see people as crazy about KISS as this 43 year old is. My wife CIndy was partying at times during the show more than i was. I managed to snag two picks one from Tommy and one from Paul which a lady was pretty much willing to do anything for!!!!! After the show my wife said if they came to Toronto we would be going again. Well fast forward a couple months and we are off to Toronto only this time with my 66 year old dad, two of my brothers my nephew Dunning and our two daughters Natasha and Courtney. Three generations of the Hurst family off to KISS. My mom would have loved to have been there but she was at home in Cardiff. Is too much for her as she has failed kidneys and dialysis three times a week. I would have loved for her to be ther with us as she took me to my first KISS show back in '79 at Maple Leaf Gardens made me my first Peter Criss costume when i was eleven and let me play my drums as loud as i could to every KISS song i could play. Well what a show again. They did not dissapoint at all and seeing my two kids rocking and singing to every KISS song that was played is any KISS fan who is a parent dream come true. After the show we all met outside the A.C.C to get on the subway and head back home. As we were standing there my dad got shit on by a seagull. My wife said hey thats a sign of good luck. Well not five minutes later my dad got a call on his cell that my mom had a donor kidney and she had to be in Kingston for 6 a.m. Well to make along story short she had the transplant and is at home doing very well so i will always remember that night in October with my family, KISS and a new kidney for my mom. PRICELESS !!!!!
