Last Night's Concert In Greenville...

Posted on 10/18/2009
I'm 45 years old, and have been a KISS fan since the mid-70's. I LOVED the original KISS. In fact, Ace Frehley, who, a few years before the Reunion I actually got to meet, was always my favorite. However, I stuck with KISS through the lineup changes. Everyone who came on board had a great deal to offer, and even though Ace and Peter were gone, KISS kept chugging away and I never once thought of abandoning them. Well last night, I had an AMAZING seat for the show in Greenville. Third row up, right up near the stage. Ace and Pete, I will always love you guys and wish you well. Love Ace's new record by the way. But the lineup of Paul, Gene, Eric, and Tommy is untouchable. AMAZING. Sonic Boom is fantastic, and would love for the guys to come back and play more from that, but what I saw, and HEARD, was...well...I was simply PROUD. Beaming the entire time. Fantastic show, and the guys really are united and ready to take on the world all over again. Please come back to South Carolina soon, even if it means I have to travel an hour and a half from Columbia to Greenville again. It was absolutely worth it. And don't wait another 11 years before you release a new album! Paul & Gene, Thank You for keeping KISS alive all these years, especially YOU Paul. Produce the next album too! Eric, as ALWAYS, you ROCK. And Tommy, it's great that you have finally staked your claim within the band. Ace is a legend, to me and many others, but you are your own spaceman and you kicked my ass last night! Shock Me was great...but can't wait to hear you sing "When Lightning Strikes." Looking forward to the KISS ALIVE 70 Tour !!!!!!!
